What is it a lot of people on these boards have been saying?

" I want a young coach."

We could hire a young coach but that doesnt mean he is the best guy for the job.

The same people who post stupid stuff like that will stay away from this thread.

Excellent point. I don't care if the guy is young or old, so long as he has a plan that he can implement, he can make adjustments when the plan's not working in game, and he can inspire this team to play passionately on a weekly basis with or without sideline theatrics. But, you know, "young and hungry" coaches who can "relate" to today's players are all the rage these days and is exaggerated here as a backlash against Parcell's catatonic demeanor at the end of the season. Let's hope Jerry is a little less superficial.

It blows my mind how many people are missing his point here. People are in love with the idea of Bob Stoops because he's a young fiery guy. If Wade Phillips were that young, fiery guy with the same resume (somehow) would people be so opposed to it?

I expected it.

But all you gotta do is open up a thread and look at what people are saying and realise im not that far off.

People aren't wanting good quality coaches. They want a Young guy....
