Good answer.

I never really understood the loudmouth crowd who believe that if they really like one player, they have to bad mouth others at the position. It's the same few continually bashing Jones so maybe they're just trying to relive the past glory of the Carter/Hutchinson war in their mind or something.

I like Jones but I want better production, I don't like to settle for ok or he is alright Dallas has a history of great RB and I would love to get back to that. Dallas ranked 13th in rushing and weather it is Jones or someone else I want to see consistent performance out of our starting RB. Jones gets the more carries and I want to see something better than what we have. I don't consider that hating a player I consider that wanting more for the team. Jones is entering his last year of the contract I would hope he can step up his game and give us a reason to resign him and if not then I would love to see Dallas bring in someone else.

I feel the same way, I'd love to see better production from Jones, but I'd love to see better production from every Cowboy.

And I don't consider you one of the "haters". They know who they are. Saying you're unsure if he's the final answer is a far cry from the constant "he sucks" cries of a few.

True, I only have a dislike of only 1 player on this team but that is a different story. I do think Dallas is faced with a tough situation in do you try and get something for Jones now or do you wait and run the risk of losing him with nothing in return. Like many others have suggested if a 2nd rd pick was offered it would be tough to turn down. My gut feeling is Jones will be back and I just hope Phillips will have an open competition for the starting job, I do think Barber has earned the right to challenge for the job and more carries that go along with the job.

So who is the guy you dislike?

I'd guess Owens.

He doesn't bother me and now that Parcells and Bledsoe are gone, there's not a single player or coach that I hate myself for hoping they do well.

I wouldn't mind if Spears, Ferguson and James were replaced as starters and I doubt that Hoyte even makes the team but I don't "hate" any of them.

Damn you must know Ms Cleo. :laugh2:
I hope every player does well even the one I don't care for. I have never rooted aginst any player in all the years I have been a fan and never will but the guy is not my cup of tea.

I never liked Sanders and to be honest, I couldn't stand Michael Irvin. Just never liked him at all.

I have never liked the talkers. Give me the silent guys who just get the job done. Of Course we have never had a lot of noisy guys here on the boys. Hollywood, Irvin, Deion, TO. Thats about it.

Charles Haley, who by the way was the KEY to us winning 3 superbowls.

I don't have a problem with the talkers (on the field) as long as they back it up.

It's the guys that talk to the press and throw their teammates under the bus that I have a problem with.

I also feel that Jones will be back no matter what is currently being said and/or written about him possibly being traded. I'm hoping that there will be open competition for the starting spot. While I could be wrong, and it's certainly happened before, however, I'm inclined to think that Jerry Jones' asking price for Julius Jones will be perceived by most, if not all teams, as being too high - and the draft will come and go, and Jones will still be on our roster.

I agree. I don't think Jerry will let JJ go for anything less than a 2nd rd pick.
