What if we lose when Romo comes back?

Everyone is assuming we go on a run when Romo returns. But just looking at the alternative. If he lose to Miami and Carolina, what do we do then?

This team is bad. It was bad last year.
The defense was a tad opportunistic and lucky. We all said it... we all knew it.

The green bay game was a snapshot of what was coming this year. We couldnt get to a one legged QB.

Romo wont get us past 5-11 or 6-10

A big question for concern is how healthy is Tony? We know he has the heart of a lion, but is that collarbone ready for football contact? It would be devastating for Suh to get a cheap shot in and make things worse.

I think, if the team continues to lose, or loses the majority of the rest of the games, Garrett may actually be fired.

The mess is evident to everyone. There is absolutely no discipline. Garrett does not receive any respect from the players (evident by the Dez outburst when he stood there and did nothing) or the referees (who seemingly always make calls that turn out wrong against the Cowboys, and all he does is clap).

216 yards yesterday and 12 first downs. All season lows.

Against Tampa folks. Tampa!!

How Red will get a pass is beyond me!

:hammer:
This sums it up........
Its apparent this team has many more issues other than just missing Romo. Heads should roll but they probably will not.

If we lose with Romo?

We complain some more and all lament the fact that Garrett has protected status regardless of what happens the rest of the year.

Escort the redhead to his car with his box of stuff I hope!

Never happen.

The "excuse" of the week will be that Romo tried but he came back too early, or was rusty. Cant hold that against Red.

This guy isnt even slick or a good talker yet he's exempt all the time from any criticism.

Yesterday you even had the mediots and presstitutes absolving Red of blame and putting it all on Jerry.

The only guys that have better job situations than Garrett, are Jerry and Stephen.

Here is what I am thinking. If Romo loses the next 2 games then we should pull him to keep him from getting hurt again this year and see who else will step up on this team. Everyone plays for their jobs and we look to get a QB in the top 5 that we groom for 2-3 years. I know Romo thinks he can play 5-6 more years but his body won't hold up that long. Our coordinators are put on notice that they have to find a way to get the best out of who is there. Get creative or we will find someone who will. JG most likely won't go anywhere but he is obviously being evaluated as a result of this mess.

The other thing that I do is cut Hardy. He hasn't played well since the media started coming after him and we are paying him per game he plays for us. We save money and lose the circus that surrounds him.

I've never heard this. Did this come from a source or just your conjecture?

I'm still drunk from yesterday. But think about it. Jerry clings to Garrett as a symbol of the glory years. He really wanted Troy, but he's not an idiot. He has a broadcast career, so Jerry gets the next best thing in his mind.

Well, that sounded convincing in my head about 20 mins ago at least.

I'm wonder why the question is "what if". Romo will not win the rest of the games. The more appropriate question is "What are reasonable expectations for Romo?". We have seven losses, so does an eighth loss get Romo the wrath of the fans? My best guess is, that depends on who that eighth lose is against. Miami is a win we have to have while an undefeated Carolina is a forgivable loss. The fans are understandable unhappy right now.
