What if we lose when Romo comes back?

I am not assuming we go on a run.

I think we win some and lose some with Romo in the game.

Romo does not make us unbeatable...but at the same time he does not make use 7 losses in a row bad either.

I would not be shocked if we lost his first game back and he did not look good.
He has been out some time and will probably be rusty and he will probably try to take the team on his back with the pressure to win which could result in him pushing too much and making risky throws.

I agree about him feeling like he has to put the team on his back and it resulting in him making mistakes.

This team really didn't look that good in the two games they won with Tony. I think there is more at play. It's starting to look to me like losing Murray and signing Hardy destroyed the internal dynamics of this team.

The Football Gods have a way of evening things out. Last year we were a 8-8 team That got lucky. This year were a 8-8 team that got unlucky..

there is no pressure on romo. I expect him to play loose and be effective. But I think this team is starting to fold. Tony might go .500

I also think that Callahan was a bigger part of our success than we realized. I know I assumed we could replace him and keep right on dominating the running game. This OL hasn't looked the same this year

Rest assured that with the next costly interception (and all QB's have them, so it's inevitable) or poor overall game from the team, his detractors will be back. I mean the guy's a choker and can't read a defense...I heard it right here.

I heard it here too so it has to be true... right?

A big question for concern is how healthy is Tony? We know he has the heart of a lion, but is that collarbone ready for football contact? It would be devastating for Suh to get a cheap shot in and make things worse.

This for sure,
Time or rest will not completely heal his back. It will always be a concern therefore a target for all opposing defenses. We'll be lucky if he makes it through the season healthy and then what, cringe every time he goes down? GET THIS!! All teams now know how to beat the Cowboys and take them out of any future playoff hunt with our current team/coaches and that's putting #9 in a t-shirt on Sundays.

I fully expect that we lose this next game. It will take time to get acquainted with the speed of the game.

This team is bad. It was bad last year.
The defense was a tad opportunistic and lucky. We all said it... we all knew it.

The green bay game was a snapshot of what was coming this year. We couldnt get to a one legged QB.

Romo wont get us past 5-11 or 6-10

That's a bit much

Agreed, another missing part. I remember many of us saying at the end of last season about the team "Don't change a single thing!"

This OL hasn't looked the same this year

Careful, I said that a few weeks ago and got roasted for it.

This. The 2 games in 4 days coming off that injury is going to be tough for him and no one is talking about that being a factor.

The Cowboys will lose some games with Romo because the teams problems are deeper than just not having him. You don't lose 7 straight games if it's just a QB problem. Cassel played well enough to get wins the last 2 weeks but the defense couldn't hold that's been the story all season with the defense.

The Cowboys have led in 6 of their 7 losses and although the offense has had it's issues without Romo there's no rule that says you have to give your defense a 10 point cushion. Each side of the ball has a job to do and if you have the lead in the closing minutes of games your defense needs to do it's job and make a stop.

The Cowboys have. Cassel is not able to make audibles at the line like Romo is. Your hate of Romo is causing you blind ignorance.

normally i would agree on KJJ stuff and his hate. but the (2) wins before this losing run were not pretty and not confidence inspiring.

he's right. our problems are much deeper than a hurt qb.

Nate Burleson just now on nfl network....

I dont think Dallas can do it (come back and win the division) because I dont think they will keep Romo healthy.

I'm wonder why the question is "what if". Romo will not win the rest of the games. The more appropriate question is "What are reasonable expectations for Romo?". We have seven losses, so does an eighth loss get Romo the wrath of the fans? My best guess is, that depends on who that eighth lose is against. Miami is a win we have to have while an undefeated Carolina is a forgivable loss. The fans are understandable unhappy right now.

The reasons you give plus. What if Romo leads the team to better than 30 points and the defense tanks? All depends on how we lose.
