what if we win one playoff game

I'd obviously would prefer more than 1 playoff win.

But I'd take a playoff win and be happy.

everything

Why? Give some rational reasoning.
Wow, if we in a SB in 2020, will it be because of Parcell's in your mind?
Is this still Parcell's team? Please get real!

Ok, in turn, if we win any SBs while Jerry Jones is still owner, I will credit Jimmy Johnson for all of those. LOL!

I sure enjoyed those Bill Parcell's press conferences. What a colorful prima donna. But looking back now I think I was fooled.

He likes that tough guy military man rep...but ultimately he went AWOL in the middle of the night on three different teams. I say he's a chicken-crap hypocrite.

He said "It is what it is." Well he never got us to one playoff win and then he ran away. I call that a loser.

It all depends on how well they play. I could tolerate a loss more if they lost in a knock-down, drag-out game where both teams played well. There will be NO satisfaction with this team if they revisit their Keystone Cop routine where they look like friggin idiots.

will everyone be satisfied?

it's funny how the talk is always about getting that playoff win and rubbing it in Bill Parcells' face, but would that be enough for you guys?

Nope... Deep playoff run!

I'd be happy if we get a playoff win, but nowhere near satisfied. This team should be winning playoff games every yr with the talent on the team. It's been expected to make noise in the playoffs for 3 or 4 yrs now, but never does. One win isnt that great of an accomplishment.

Superbowl or Bust

Agreed.

But if I had to, you know had my arm twisted and just had to put it into perspective.

Peyton Manning - #1 draft pick. Missed playoff first year. Then lost first 3 playoff games. Preceded to go 6-9 in playoffs until his SB run the following year.

Eli Manning - #1 draft pick. Didnt make playoffs in his first year(started somewhere mid season). Then lost 2 playoff games before going on SB run and win.

Tony Romo - we all know the story. Undrafted, stats, really good QB from day 1. Getting better every game. Playoff in 1st year - a hiccup loses the game. Playoffs 2nd year - Crayton and Romo almost lock up.

So if he wins just one playoff game it is a good thing. I wont like the one and done. But a good thing nonetheless.

I want us to make a run bigtime, but isnt it interesting/ironic that for many the only way Wade can save his job is to get to a super bowl, yet the guys they want to replace him (people like Cowher and Fisher) have been to a total of 2 of them COMBINED in something like 30 total seasons of coaching?

You know its deeper than that.

I was on Cowher bandwagon for a little while. I prefer Garrett. All in.

Why would anyone want to rub anything in Parcells' face?

Look at how many key players the Cowboys acquired under Parcells. Were it not for him, we'd be talking about the draft right now instead of the playoffs.

Wow...can't see the Parcell's connection at all. Issues people have.

And I'm sure he'd give a ****.

Enough for what? I hope we can make the entire way having said that winning a post season game for this current team would be big but I don't think the players would be satisfied just winning one.

I'm sorry we made the playoffs it seems to have ruined your day. :laugh2:

Just depends on how they play in the NFC Divisional Game.

However, that would mean that Wade Phillips only managed to win 1 Playoff Game in 3 years and I believe that is unacceptable given the talent he has, especially at Quarterback.

I'd be happy with it. I just don't want to hear the "haven't won a playoff game in 13 years" taunts anymore. This team doesn't seem quite ready for a Super Bowl so I'd settle for a little bit of winning in the playoffs as a good start.

Of course, I'd rather have the Super Bowl.
At this instant, Dallas is more ready than any other team in the NFC. On a hot streak, about to win the division, no huge weaknesses, pretty much everybody healthy, PLAYING THEIR BEST FOOTBALL.

No other team is doing that.

Nop, no team the Cowboys face in the post season strikes fear in anybodies heart. The only team I think we match up badly with is the Chargers as Norv is an expert at exploiting poor safety play. For that to happen we need to make the Superbowl.
