Nope....I'm one of those only satisfied with a SB win....but that's just me.

you know I say right now I'd be satisfied with the one win... but really when I think about it, all the games after the first round will be rematches and games the Cowboys should go into with redemption in their minds.

We have blood to settle with Arizona (from last year)
Green Bay (From this year)

Out of New Orleans and Minnesota, New Orleans most certainly will play us as intense as possible. Losing to them would not be satisfying whatsoever. If we played the Vikings they may be the only team I would consider not feeling down about, and that's implying that we were in the NFCG so then I don't know I think it'd be a bit dissapointing getting that close and losing.

So no, I think once we get in the playoffs which we have done, the "satisfying" part is done. This season is not a waste, or a bust, and atleast we're going in the right direction. But now, there are no scenarios to me in the playoffs that make losing any more satisfying than I am now unless we win the superbowl.

Wow...can't see the Parcell's connection at all. Issues people have.

And I'm sure he'd give a ****.

Yea, I feel the same way. Parcell's left us in good shape. Just think of where we were before he got here. 5-11, 5-11 and 5-11. If we win a playoff game, I do not feel like we are "sticking it" to Parcells. I am sure he would be happy if we did, because there are quite a few players on the Cowboys that he drafted.

I will be happy if we win one playoff game. If we win more than one playoff game I will be more happy.

I'm trying not to be a homer, but even in the few losses this team has suffered, I really see nothing that says Dallas can't be the NFC representative in the Super Bowl this season.

I'd always be disappointed after we lose. So I wouldn't be satisfied with just one playoff win. But I would be glad to get that 13 year monkey off our back and think we may have turned the corner.

Though it does make you realize how far we've fallen when people are talking about being satisfied with just one wildcard win.

I'm sure I'll be here win or lose.

BTW, when have I not shown up when we've won in the postseason?

for some strange reason this 09 dallas team reminds me of the 07 giants team. we have REALLY stepped it up the last two games and if we win vs philly next week, I really think we can beat ANYONE

I'd be happy with it. I just don't want to hear the "haven't won a playoff game in 13 years" taunts anymore. This team doesn't seem quite ready for a Super Bowl so I'd settle for a little bit of winning in the playoffs as a good start.

Of course, I'd rather have the Super Bowl.

Me also. You must learn to walk before you run.

I'll be somewhat disappointed but I'll also be relieved because I won't have to hear "they haven't won a playoff game in 3000 years" again.

Satisfied with what? My personal feelings and my satisfaction with the team will be very different.

If they win a playoff game and lose in the 2nd round but show discipline and a strong effort then i'll be satisfied with the coaching/team. As long as there's a win and optimism going into the offseason, i'm a-ok.

Nothing would satisfy me personally except a SB win.

it's funny how the talk is always about getting that playoff win and rubbing it in Bill Parcells' face, but would that be enough for you guys?

I will not be satisfied, but will be happy that the local sports talk station here in Charlotte will be forced to take off their open that has been playing for a couple years now. It says, " What's the streak up to now Pacman, the host's name not our ex player, and it say four thousand whatever days since the DALLAS COWBOYS won a playoff game."

What does Bill Parcells have to do with anything? Well, I'll make him relevant to the discussion.

A) When he was here, for some reason, the mediots wouldn't talk about our playoff drought. Why was that?

B) If the Dolphins fail to make the playoffs, it will be 11 years since a Bill Parcells-led organization won a playoff game.

Now, on to the question. Will one playoff win satisfy everyone? No, because then the whiners and habitual complainers will say, "In 13 years, we've only won one playoff game!" If you think meeting this current complaint of winning a playoff game will end all of the complaining, then you're dead wrong. The opposition has a whole rolodex full of complaints, and when we meet one complaint, they'll just pull out another.

Why would people want to rub anything in Bill Parcells face? All he did is build most of this team and teach Jerry Jones how to be a better GM. If anything we owe BP a thank you, IMO.

It'll be enough for me. Would I like more? Absolutely, but a playoff win is more than I expected from this team. I thought this was a 9 win team at their very best.
