What happens if we come out, play well, and end up with a victory? Say Orton plays a good, mistake free game and we win. How does that look for Tony? What if somehow we beat the eagles and win a home playoff game.

I don't think it will happen, but i just want to see how that would make everyone, and the media, feel about Orton finally getting the cowboys a win in this situation as opposed to Romo.

Most of us believe the season is over now anyway. So this is a what if thread.

No different than I did about aikman when steve buerlein took over and led the cowboys past the eagles, then secured a wild card spot and then beat ditkas bears in soldier field all things aikman had never done.

You tip your hat to orton and be glad we didn't have Seneca Wallace or whoever that guy was who started last year for Minnesota.

What if the Eagles don't show up for the game. How does that look for Chip Kelly? What if somehow the defense with out our starting MLB wins the game with 6 turnovers? does that mean Sean Lee answers questions? The season is over? Most of us do NOT believe the season is over. Doom and gloom. Yes my thoughts exactly, why is this a thread?

I have seen stranger things happen in sports.

If every Cowboy realizes that he has to raise it up a notch because Romo is gone, even if he didn't think he could, ... while every iggle laughs to himself, .. "wow, we crushed the Bears and the Cowboys have to play Orton, ... who do we play in the first round of the playoffs?"

You may think you know, but you never know.

The world is full of WHAT IFs.

The reality is that we don't match up well with the Iggles.

I hope for the best. I hope we can win.

I'm sure the Polish cavalry hoped for victory as well when charged against German tanks.

It would be a miracle if they won Sunday Night..

1. No Romo

2. It being Sunday Night and Dallas hardly ever plays well on Sunday Night.

If this happens, I will be pleased that philly becomes an even more unsuccessful franchise. I don't want to see them celebrate in our house, wearing NFC East champ hats and t-shirts. Philly is a dump and should stay that way.

Well, I sure hope we win.

There's no comparison between Kyle Orton and Tony Romo though.
And some seem to forget that Romo has led the team to two division championships (in six full seasons starting) with the team playing in second round playoff games twice.

Nevertheless, I'm pulling for Orton and the TEAM to play well enough to win.

I think Orton is fully capable of having a good game.

It'll give Romo-haters ammo for sure, but I don't care.

I'm a Cowboys fan above a Romo fan. I want to see this team win so I'll be rooting regardless of who starts at QB.

A true Cowboy Fan just spoke. Take notice.

So was Tom Brady expandable the year Cassel stepped in and was successful?

did they make the playoffs that year?

It's impossible to argue with you people.

FYI, Brady has more Super Bowl rings than Romo has playoff wins. Brady isn't expandable by any means.
