It will be a glorious day indeed if the Boys are victorious Sunday, which will knock the Eagles out of the playoffs, make Dallas NFC East Champions, and send all of the Philly fans into a long, deep depression. What a way to cap off the regular season.:)

One LARGE point you are leaving out there....Aikman was still a 24/25 y.o Qb finding his way, not a 34 year-old who has one playoff win. Make no mistake, if Orton plays well and wins, Romo will have to face a myriad of questions regarding his leadership and his ability to take his team to the next level.

I think you're projecting your fantasies into reality again.

They can ask him all the questions they want, he'll still be here next year as the starting quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys.

I do get the feeling if that we win, some people genuinely will not be happy.

I'm a Cowboys fan first and a fan of individual players second. If we somehow win with Orton, that won't change my opinion of Romo at all. It just means we beat the Eagles and we are going to host a playoff game for the first time in 4 years and I am content with that.

As for everyone else, I feel like this board would erupt between the "Romo haters" and "Romo lovers" which is sad because we should all just be happy about our TEAM winning the division and focus our energy on that.

So you guys are pretending like the 09 season finale and the 09 playoff game against the Eagles (both won by Romo) didnt happen?

Just checking so I can follow along.

make playoffseven had they loss the 09 finale. Big win by Romo. Take nothing away from him. But it wasn't a win or go home game.

You realize that your sig has just put your arse on the line, you do realize that?

If your boy Orton goes out there and throws 3 picks, you are going to get laughed off this board.

You darn right I realize it! Wouldn't have any other way!

I've waited two loooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggggggg years for this!

Please. None of those games mattered, if Orton can do what Romo hasn't the past two years and win a sudden death Sunday nighter you bet the media will have questions.

You can like it or not, but that's reality.

It would mean that the team came together to play a team game. It would mean the defense played at an above average level and that Orton managed the game and gave the ball to Murray.

No, I think he's right about the questions Romo will face. As far as winning with Orton Sunday night, yeah that might be a fantasy. But ya never know.

Trust me, he's never right about anything... that in itself guarantees it.

If we win and Orton isn't just a bus driver then there will be a lot of chatter, no doubt. But no questions.

We will win b/c we have no pressure and our team played tight when romo was the QB in playoff type games.

I have never subscribed to the whole "lose so JG gets canned" move that pops up here a lot. I want this team to win every game, make the playoffs every year and then deal with the offseason drama as it comes.

I will take the anticipation of that first playoff game every time, even if it means another year of the Red.

I think it would make Jason Garrett look bad. There's no doubt that Romo is a better QB than Orton (and Kitna). If we came out with an amazing offensive gameplan and won the game, it would show that Garrett has the ability to put together a solid game plan. But it would also show that, when Garrett has a star QB, he abandons all game plan and puts everything on his QB. That can't be good.
