What if we win Sunday night

If we win it'll be because our defense stepped up

I don't like our chances then.

Ware is invisible. Lee will probably not play. Mo probably won't play either. Dwayne Harris, iffy there too. Romo, don't think he has any chance of playing. If he does, they will blitz the heck out of him.

We have gotten worse since we beat them. They have gotten a lot better since they lost to us. I'm still hoping we win, but i would bet my entire bank account we don't.

What happens if we come out, play well, and end up with a victory? Say Orton plays a good, mistake free game and we win. How does that look for Tony? What if somehow we beat the eagles and win a home playoff game.

I don't think it will happen, but i just want to see how that would make everyone, and the media, feel about Orton finally getting the cowboys a win in this situation as opposed to Romo.

Most of us believe the season is over now anyway. So this is a what if thread.

No idea. Cross that road when/if we get there. Keep in mind, we beat the Eagles this year, without Ware and Murray, on the road.

True, but their offense is playing a lot better now than it was then.

Also, our defense is a lot worse than it was then.

Any given Sunday man. The Ravens were on a roll as well, winning 5 out of their last 6, then the injury riddled Pats blew them out.

And we all know what happened to the Eagles 2 weeks ago.

Win a Sunday night win or go home game!

You realize that your sig has just put your arse on the line, you do realize that?

If your boy Orton goes out there and throws 3 picks, you are going to get laughed off this board.

Ignore is an awesome feature. Just add him to the list.

I get what you are saying.

I'm just saying you can throw the last game against them out the window.

Anything can happen, i know.

But the Pats have Belicheck guiding that defense. We have kiffin, when he is awake.

The pats defense won that game. I don't think you can count on our defense to do that.

The game is a toss-up even if Orton plays IMO. Would not be a huge upset. While the Cowboys have been disappointing and lost in unthinkable fashion numerous times, Philly overall is an average team much like the cowboys.

No different than I did about aikman when steve buerlein took over and led the cowboys past the eagles, then secured a wild card spot and then beat ditkas bears in soldier field all things aikman had never done.

You tip your hat to orton and be glad we didn't have Seneca Wallace or whoever that guy was who started last year for Minnesota.

One LARGE point you are leaving out there....Aikman was still a 24/25 y.o Qb finding his way, not a 34 year-old who has one playoff win. Make no mistake, if Orton plays well and wins, Romo will have to face a myriad of questions regarding his leadership and his ability to take his team to the next level.

Then we'll most likely face Arizona or the Saints for a playoff game.

If we win Sunday night, it'll most likely be due to Murray running like E.Smith, not Orton orchestrating a 90 yard drive to win the game with a herniated disk *cough*.
