Edit that's what my administration of Justice teacher told the class today when it was brought up by him. He also happens to be a judge.

I have the same take as you, but I wouldn't put any credence into what your teacher said. It's an "appeal to authority" situation as it is doubtful that he is all that familiar with NFL contracts or the current CBA agreement.

Regardless, it is almost impossible to "breach" a NFL contract as there is so much language in the contacts and CBA to cover almost every situation. The only obvious one I can think of is if the team didn't meet the payroll.

Teachers a football junkie. Asked the class if they wanted to go over the CBA it was a definitive no. I would've enjoyed it.
