He has 2 years left on his contract. He signed that contract which means he intends to play within that scope of the contract. He is breaking that contract right now by being in Cabo.

So no he is not within 100% of his contract.
Unless he refuses to pay any fines that are tallied against him he is. If the team tried to sue him for breach of contract right now they would lose.

Talking crap to an agent and making it personal is one of the most moronic things I’ve ever heard and as an Eagles fan I’ve heard some stupid ****.

-Every agent in the NFL will see this. They’ll advise their clients to avoid Dallas at all costs unless they are willing to overpay (see DC)
-The agents do what their clients want. The agent didn’t set the number, Zeke did, going after the agent personally for doing his job is beyond childish. How is the next agent going to fall in line in your scenario? If they don’t push for their clients they get fired.
-If they want to get into a pissing match, Zeke can show up, get a mystery injury and never play a real down all while collecting a check, He can do that for two years and become an FA.

Honestly this is more simple than we make it.
Keep it honest, keep it right and the team will be okay either way.

the point is to get rid of the agent.
the other agents will know not to push too far.
if zeke does that, he is ruining his value.

Well you mentioned that he is 100% in compliance with his contract when he can't even finish his current contract eright now. So if he's breaking his contract how could he be 100% compliant?

If Dallas takes him to court for breach of contract there is no guarantee Zeke will win. What he's doing is unprecedented and will be up to a judge to decide, not Zeke or the Cowboys.

If Dallas wanted to they don't have to pay Zeke at all, let him sit for 2 years and then trade him or cut him. Zeke thinks he has leverage in this but he really doesn't.

The judge would see he is within his rights under the CBA. The judge would then see his actions are subject to fines under (I believe)the CBA and his contract. The judge would then ask the teams lawyers if they had tried to collect on those fines. If they say no the judge tells them to. If they say yes and have proof he would find Zeke in breach of contract and order him to pay said fines. This isn't hard.

Edit that's what my administration of Justice teacher told the class today when it was brought up by him. He also happens to be a judge.

Not only is it a few million per year.
Not only is it a huge cap hit if he gets suspended or banned.
It is also all the negotiations to follow.
If the Jones allow Zeke to force the highest pay for a RB 2 years before his contract is up, what will Dak, Cooper, LVE, BJones, Chido, Woods do?
Will everyone start holding out 2 years before their contract is done?
That means Chido and Woods could hold out after the season and LVE the season after that?

If I were Stephen, I would make an example of Zeke's agent.
Make it totally personal.
Curse at him, degrade him, talk about his wife and his mother, do whatever it takes to make Zeke realize that a deal cannot be done as long as he has the same agent.
Force the agent to get fired or else Zekes' career is in limbo.
Set the precedent.
So all other agents know what can happen.

Simply make this statement:
we made Zeke an offer to be the top 2 paid rb.
he did not take it.
that is the last offer.
we are not trading him.
he can play for the cowboys or not at all.
have a nice day.

Nobody cares bub. If he shows up, he shows up..........if not he doesnt. Guys have already moved on.

Hence the words "breach of contract". That means that Zeke thus broke his contract obligations to the Cowboys and is not entirely without guilt. Maybe you should rewrite what you said about Zeke in that he is 100% within his legal limits to break his contract. He is not.

Frankly, Zeke thinks he has leverage over the team. He doesn't. They can let him sit this one out without pay and fine him till no end. Then when its all said and done Zeke will be out of football while Dak and Cooper are raking in the big bucks.

That's all I've said about it. It is 100% accurate.
