Seriously though, the guy just voiced his opinion. Not a big deal.


And, like I said, even if he doesn't end up being a 60% passer doesn't mean he won't be a great QB. Completion % isn't the "End all" stat for QBs.

The worst thing for me on message boards is college homers. I like football more than anything. After that, I like the Cowboys. After that - it's football again. College football homers are the most aggravating though. they always think that their school houses hidden gems that will become great NFL talent, and never believe that their stars won't be good NFL players.

And on the other side of that pancake, it's annoying when you get called a "t-shirt" fan cuz you aren't a complete homer.

I'm a ND fan, but "not really" cuz I don't consider JuJo the greatest thing since sliced bread.

It IS possible to be a fan of a team and to look at them, and their players, objectively.

I agree, the guy is just a winner. He definitely has "it". But it takes more then "it" to be a great NFL quarterback. He HAS to improve his mechanics. To his credit, I did see him stepping into his throws today. That's a start. He almost always threw flat-footed at Texas.`

It IS possible to be a fan of a team and to look at them, and their players, objectively.

I don't root for any college teams in particular - I just hope for good football. So I always get in arguments with fans of their teams (for me it is usually UT fans - dunno why.)

But even with the NFL, I love the Cowboys because I live and was raised in Dallas, and therefore it is natural. But I enjoy good football games of other teams just as much. I really don't even get into the rivalries with the Skins and stuff - it's all in good fun for me.

Now as for my opinion, I think he'll be around a 55-58% passer. It's just an opinion. Despite what FuzzyBush says, I didn't say I KNOW that will be his completion %. It's just an opinion. I think he'll be a great player. You don't have to complete over 60% of your passes to be great.


I've said not a single negative thing about VY in this thread, I don't know why you (or fuzzy) are getting your panties in a bunch.


Edit: And FYI, I never played DE in college. I played a little bit of 3-4 DE for a semi-pro team last year, but no more then 5-6 snaps. And I never, not once, claimed that me playing college or semi-pro football made me an expert about anything. That's just Fuzzy being the ***** that he is and talking trash knowing I won't see it.

Again, he doesnt understand the concept that I was not even trying to address him. You noticed that he basically discounted your opinion and called you a woman because you felt that he had a shot to have a high completion %.

Again its really a waste of time to even try talking to Rack unless you agree with him whereas hell talk to you all day as one can see browsing the threads.
