The FA list isn't piping with big time options. Sterling Shepard or DJ Chark or JuJu Shuster-Smith might be the best names out there. Of course, there could be some surprise cuts.

Hardman could be a diamond in the rough, but the fa class is very thin, outside of making a play for OBJ. Could try to get Cooks/Juedy again via trade or go for broke and trade for Hopkins. This cannot be a draft priority, need instant help.

I think the franchise should have learned, you don't use a 1st pick on a running back and also expect the same production on a 2nd contract. It's a position we should churn every 4 years and go with more of a committee like the rest of the nfl. I am against taking a rb, however, if Robinson did fall, would be tempting, no to Gibbs at 26. Corner is where I am looking to address rd 1, maybe DT.

I see lots of corners from the board and I see 6 good ones that have similar grades according to some draft ratings. Would the 26th pick at corner beat out Bland, Isreal, l Brown and Lewis in camp? I don’t think so. Draft a cornerback in the second or third bring him along like Bland.

While your response is realistic the reality is that its basically giving up on 2 seasons for said contract.

This is the key question the organization must answer first. IF you are forced to stay with the QB, then you are very unlikely to advance any further than you have in the past no matter how you strengthen the rest of the team.

So, why wouldn't you look at these years (or at least next year) as a time to trade away any aging assets or one's you don't think you'll resign. Try to maximize your draft capital and cap space so you make moves when you can reset the QB position.

5 - You didn't mention TE. Schultz is not the guy to pay huge dollars to. Let someone else do it. I think Ferguson, Hendershot and McKeon can provide what Schultz does and we could always supplement that in the draft.

The more read about this kid, the more I like......just not sure if I'd pull the trigger at 26. He's a TE/Oline combination.....like having a 6th Olinemen of the field.

This is a very good RB draft, Gibbs is an incredible talent for sure, but Alabama RBs scare me a bit.

He was great at Georgia Tech too.

Not liking him because he played at Bama is kinda silly.

-As for TE, think they can match Shultz lost production by committee. I would probably add a veteran to the group as they are so young. Also, the TE class is very good this year, even as high as the first round. Think they can save money and be a better overall unit in the process.

You have seen the like of Joseph, Awuzie in the 2nd rd being not the answer. Believe Bland is best inside and need a outside corner who possesses elite speed. Have this rookie compete, if isn't ready you can always move Bland back outside. I'm all about adding a DT in fa and landing a high corner in the draft and then using the rest of the money/draft towards the offense.

Wow! You can not fix any offense with Dak under center. How many times does this have to be said! Change the QB you may have a shot. Leave him there and it’s year 29 in JJs world.

I went back and watched the rookie year divisional game of Dak against GB and on offense we had Twill, Dez, Gallup, Beas, Witt, Jarwin, Schultz, Zeke, and even Brown.

Everyone of them caught a ball in this game and Dez went for like 130.

Now compare those weapons to this year. You can see how Dak only threw 4 picks on the year that season.
