What are we currently known for on Offense

Are we a passing team, running team, ball control- what?

I do not know our identity, back in the 90's it was run Emmitt, swing pass to Moose, hit Novachek on 3rd down, go to Irvin on a deep out on 3rd and long, and hit Harper on a deep post for a homerun.

What is our team identity on offense?

Right now I feel we have no identity- It's like this, Romo goes to the line, calls 3 or 4 audibles and snaps the ball with 1 second on the play clock. We have not one play call as fans that we can sit back in say "oh, here comes the out pattern to Dez" or "here comes McFadden on 1st and 10 up the middle"

Thoughts!!!!

Romo is the identiy..Meaning whatever helps him is what we do.

that's why I do not think we pass on drafting Elliott.

While DMac had some success..he never made the defense fear him or adjust to stop him.

Randle neither. Neither will Morris.

A guy like Elliott is altogether different.

Bosa is not going to win games for us.

Romo, Dez, Elliott, Witten and the OL are the identity.

Being physical and scoring points is what we will be successful with.

Trying to be tricky or non-physical got us nothing but 4-12 and 8-8 seasons.

Smash mouth offensive football has been the only identity that works.

Hate to say it..but it's the truth.

Success in this league is built around stars.

Look at Cam Newton..

Or Aaron Rodgers

Or Peyton Manning.

They are what they are. Unique players with unique skills.

That how you win.

With stars.

Locate the stars and win.
