As for job status, why would anyone think that has anything to do with something other than being the son of the owner?

Respect from the media is something else. He's friendly and talkative, so the media likes him, but ultimately they are just interested in having something to print or say so it doesn't really matter to them if they respect him as an executive with the Cowboys.
