What is the Nerdiest Thing About You?

Ok...I like star trek but...ummm no I could not see myself going to one of those.

I would probably get bumrushed by a bunch of nerds for laughing at how serious they take things.

Speaking of taking all-things Star Trek too seriously, in middle school and high school, I used to get into heated debates -- almost to the point of physical violence -- over whether or not the Enterprise could defeat a Star Destroyer.

I'm much better now, though. I seldom feel the need to argue the point anymore, especially since it should be obvious to anyone with a shred of intelligence that the Enterprise would emerge victorious.:D

Star Destroyer

And if you have a problem with that ...... I rolled a 17 initiative.

I've been to eight Star Trek conventions in my life.

Are you going for the title of King Nerd around here? :laugh2:

This. My wife calls me a CowboyDork because I log onto this board every day that I can access a computer and will watch anything on the Cowboys.

If I didn't have two young kids my post count would be through the roof.

Well, I beamed a photon torpedo into your engine room. Ha!:D

do hookers count?

Of course that is why I can proudly say I'm not a virgin either. :lmao:

Only difference I see between hookers and the women I date is the hooker leaves afterwards. :lmao:

woot!

Maybe Kirk, Archer, Sisko and Picard would have had difficulty beating a Star Destroyer, but Janeway would've beaten dozens of them. Not only did she survive Borg space, but she got most of her crew back to the Alpha Quadrant (sp?) safe-and-sound. [EDIT] Beating Star Destroyers is peanuts compared to beating Borg cubes, spheres, etc.

Okay. That was my nerdy Star Trek moment of the day. :D

my post count on here would come into it considering when i joined and the fact that its a message board based thousands of miles from where i have always lived deticated to a team and sport i shouldn't by rights care about at all.

other than that my love of all things german to the extent that my friends when talking about me usualy refer to me as das dunca (my name is duncan) is pretty nerdy.
also another nickname i have is das admiral which is pretty nerdy. the das part comes from the reason explained above and the admiral part comes from a trip to london where i discovered a gay bar called admiral duncan and insisted on dragging my girlfriend in for a drink because it had the same name as me.

that doesn't make you nerdy, just well read
Still probably the nerdiest thing about me.

I guess I could add that I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, and have never been to a strip bar. I also think I was the only person in the bail thread who has not peed in a swimming pool.

See? That's a patented Janeway maneuver! :p: Well, except it would've been a quantum torpedo instead of a photon one. :D
