What is the Nerdiest Thing About You?

Still probably the nerdiest thing about me.

I guess I could add that I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, and have never been to a strip bar. I also think I was the only person in the bail thread who has not peed in a swimming pool.

i've only been once for my mates stag do and to be honest i was pretty glad to leave. felt uncomfortable and sleazy being there.

edit: i've just realised that in this thread i've stated that i don't like strip bars and have been to a gay bar, that sounds bad!!!

I can remember random baseball, football, basketball stats to the extent of career stats for a player, exact stats in game they played 2 weeks ago, 1 week ago, last night, a certain players WHIP, BABIP, K/BB ratio, who leads the league in a specific category & how much they have, etc...I hate math with a passion though

....can also name 95% of the starters of each team in baseball, football, and basketball.

You like soccer, it was always an assumption by the other board members anyway!

I kid, I kid, I actually have started to watch more soccer lately to broaden my horizons! :D

Ouch.

By the way, can you theorize a way for Commanders fans to be removed from time and space without disrupting their immediate surroundings? You know. Make them disappear from existence? Go *POOF!* That problem has always thumped me, but I never liked physics anyway. :)

actually thats another one. if any of my friends are having a debate regarding stats concerning football, for example a random foreign players previous clubs they will often take my opinion on the matter to end the argument. also whenever celtic sign anyone my dad is usualy on the phone pretty sharpish to get a summary of the guys career. so i'm known as a bit of a football (soccer) nerd.

if you're trying to get into the sport then i would recommend watching our champions league qualifier against arsenal on tuesday 18th. game kicks off at 19:45 our time which i think is quarter to twelve lunchtime san antonio time, i have no idea about the different time zones over there but i'm sure it was eight hours behind when i was there staying with my girlfriends parents. both teams play attractive football and if you have half decent sound on your tv then crank it up because the atmosphere should be fantastic. i can hardly wait for the game and have already got my night planned out, my dads coming up for dinner and a few beers then down to the pub for some pre match beer and whisky before up to celtic park to hopefully sing myself hoarse and cheer us on to a famous win.

Nothing wrong with that. I was an English Lit major with a concentration on Classical literature.

In addition to having read everything Shakespeare ever wrote, I've also studied quite a bit of Chaucer, to the point where I can read and speak Middle English... which, in retrospect, is probably the nerdiest thing about me. :D

When I was gaming heavily, I used to be happy that I lived so far away from my family on the holidays. I'd stay home and game online from the moment I woke up until I would fall asleep at the keyboard.

And bathed every veyne in swich licour,
Of which vertu engendred is the flour;
Whan Zephirus eek with his sweete breeth
Inspired hath in every holt and heeth
The tendre croppes, and the yonge sonne
Hath in the Ram his halfe cours yronne,
And smale foweles maken melodye,
That slepen al the nyght with open eye-
(So priketh hem Nature in hir corages);
Thanne longen folk to goon on pilgrimages...

I love sim games. MMA sims, football sims, soccer sims, pro wrestling sims, movie studio sims, war sims...Love them. Also, mostly all of them are text based. No 3D graphics at all. Only 3D simulators I have liked are SimCity and ThemePark. I hate, hate, hate "The Sims" and all it's sequels.

Nerdiest thing? My day job was in film and i am on a Cowboys message board.

What about highlights in your hair?
Negative. I have shaved my head twice, and got a mohawk a couple of times. My hair color is exactly what it is and always will be. I don't even cover up my gray hair.

No tats. No piercings.

I am just not into any of that stuff.
