Opening day 1999 at Washington. To come back after being down 21 in the 4th quarter was really sweet. To make it even better, I watched the game in a sports bar (Overtime in North Myrtle Beach) that was absolutely LOADED with Skins fans.
Oh that's easy for me, the 1992 NFC Championship game because I was the only one in my house who believed Dallas actually had a shot at being the then "big and mighty" 49ers!
wow thats like askin me what do i hate most about the Commanders lol....i guess it would be 03 when cundiff hit 5 fgs to get parcells his first cowboys win against his fromer team the hated Gaints
it was the 2nd SB victory during my lifetime, but I was only 3 at the time, so I dont remember it. However, I love that win over the Bills...I can watch it over and over and never get bored.
The reason is because the season before, I predicted they would beat the 9ers @ Candlestick to make the Super Bowl.
It was my Sr year in high school. And I predicted it the monday after they lost to the Lions in the prior season's playoffs, and everybody thought I was insane when Id say it....HA!!!!
Maybe not the most important but the one I absolutely lost my mind on was the season opener - Aikman to Rocket in OT against the Skins after coming back to tie.
For me it had to be the win in SB XXVII. The Cowboys hadn't been to the SB in 15 years and the last memory I had of them playing in a SB was the image of Jackie Smith dropping a sure TD. Man that was a TOUGH 15 years that included a 3-13 and 1-15 season. I always dreamed of seeing the Cowboys play in a SB and completely dominate their opponent and I got to live that dream in person in the Rose Bowl on Jan 31, 1993. I was SOOOOOO NERVOUS before that game I almost threw up right before kick off. The 1-15 89 season seemed like just yesterday and here I was sitting at the 35 yardline in the Rose Bowl about to watch the Cowboys play in a SB. It was surreal! Being able to sit there totally relaxed through the entire 4th quarter knowing the Cowboys were going to win was the most enjoyable moment I ever had watching a Cowboys game.
