92 SB, after years of not being there for years, they finally win it, again....
then it would be SB XXX beating the Steelers.
And as others said, the 79 game with Staubach coming from behind...twice...to win.

It is a toss up between the 1992 Championship game against the 9er's and the following Superbowl game.

Super Bowls aside, @Buffalo, Oct. 8, 2007. I don't think I have *EVER* been as nervous about a game as I was during that one.

Remember the pass to TO was overturned, ruled INC. Then Romo throws a low pass that hits the ground in front of Owens.

then Barber gets a short pass. Then Clutch Crayton makes a catch and gets out of bounds with TWO SECONDS LEFT!!

Then Folk comes in and hits the game winner

I was a mess. I didn't fall asleep 'til almost 5am b/c I was just so excited.

Funny how so many liked SuperBowl XXX against the Steelers.
I thought we played poorly in that game - not a memorable game at all for me.

Season ending win against Washington in 1979. Staubach was magical and so much was on the line.

This was the one for me too. I remember crying when Roger retired. He's the reason I became a Cowboys fan.

Two stand out to me, both during the Quincy Carter era, on Billy Cundiff GW field goals.

1. 2002 at the Rams
2. 2003 at the Giants in Parcells return on MNF

March 31, 1980. I have never forgotten the date.

It's almost freaky that so many people are mentioning the 1999 season-opener at Washington ... that's one of the first ones that popped into my mind, too.

Aikman hitting Ismail on the bomb in OT made me leap off the couch. It's probably the biggest reaction I've ever had to a single play ... and if I remember right, it's the biggest reaction I've ever seen out of Aikman. It was just such a dramatic round-house knock-out blow to our most hated rival (and right when the Commanders thought they were about to be great again).
Two images from that game stand out the most to me. The first was the shot of Daniel Snider in his owners box with that priceless *** expression on his face. The second was the slow mo replay of the Ismail TD. The two Commander safeties bit so hard on the play fake it wasn't even funny.

A few folks have mentioned the 93 regular season final game at New York. I can't go there. I know Emmitt was a warrior that day but what I remember most is how we almost gave the game away after leading 13-0 at halftime. Home field throughout on the line and we almost gave it away.

For me, I think SBXXX was my favorite. It was first time a team had won 3 in 4 years(next best was Steelers 4 in 6). I saw and wanted 4 straight... but... anyways...

I liked that we were first to do it. Even the Pats 3 in 4 is tainted. So we still stand strong there.

Funny about the timing as I see this thread.

I am watching the game right now on my DVD.

It is the 1993 NFC Championship Game where Jimmy Johnson exclaims, "WE WILL WIN THE BALL GAME!"

I just saw Kosar hit Irvin on that key 3rd and 9.

Then hits Novachek for a big play.

The dagger to Harper is coming soon.

1992 NFC Chapionship Game vs the Niners

The reason is because the season before, I predicted they would beat the 9ers @ Candlestick to make the Super Bowl.

It was my Sr year in high school. And I predicted it the monday after they lost to the Lions in the prior season's playoffs, and everybody thought I was insane when Id say it....HA!!!!

That was my first year at UCONN and the college paper was interviewing students for predictions. I still have the issue with my pic and my quote "the dallas cowboys will be the dynasty of the 90's"......:D

1997 VS Philly MNF Aikman to Anthony Miller for insane go ahead score, Eagles muff chip shot fg
1998 Chris Warren and Emmitt go over 100 yards in rout of Skins
1999 Beating the Packers minus the Triplets
2000 Knocking off the SB favorite Skins on MNF with Randall Cunningham
2001 Quincy beats the Niners
2002 Emmitt's last great game vs the Skins on Thanksgiving.
2003 Beating the Eagles after 6 game losing streak vs Philly
2004 Julius Jones goes crazy vs Seattle
