We are way to predictable on offense. Seems like we only run 7 plays.
1. Romo from center: handoff to Barber up the middle
2. Romo from center: looks at T.O. waits a moment, then handoffs to Barber.
3. Romo from center: Fakes handoff to Barber, handoff to T.O. on reverse.
4. Romo from Shotgun: pass to T.O. but incomplete because he is doubled
5. Romo From Shotgun: looks at T.O. wonders if Crayton or Austin is even on the field. Pass complete to Witten over the middle.
6. Romo from Shotgun: Everyone is covered dumpoff pass to Barber.
7. Romo from center: Nobody is open, Runs for his life or forces a throw. Usally results in a turnover. Hopefully we have scored by play 6.

Defense. Too much Soft Zone!!!! Spencer and Burnett can't go a damn game without getting a boo boo. We are guaranteed to give up one big play usally on 3rd and long. We can't get pressure on the QB unless it's late in the 4th quarter. Our 2 minute defense just flat out sucks. We can't seem to tackle anymore. Seems we are always a day late and a dollar short.

Special Teams. with the exception of a very few(Folk, Mcbriar, Davis and Choice) are just awful.

Holy crap. That's our offense! I think Garrett is a pretty good coach, but it seems like now that people are doubling TO and succeeding, we run the same plays over and over. I think our playbook is 90% TO. That's not a bad thing unless he's taken out of the game and then you're left with the crappy 10% remainder.

Playing solid defense until our offense scores then giving up a TD themselves.

Also running the hurry up offense at the end of the half and settling for a field goal attempt while going into the locker room with two timeouts in their pocket.

My pet peeve is the defense not playing like their lives depend on it every down...we don't have a defense that wants to punish the offense, the runner, the receiver, the QB, or even put it on an OLman. We tend to play according to the score. I wish the defense came out and played like their hair was on fire and competed hard whether we're behind or ahead by 3 scores.

Moreso than the offense, I feel the defense plays down to the competition and game situation...it bothers me.

When we have 3rd and short and we go for a long pass instead of just moving the chains.

The lack of our thirst for blood in our passing attack. Seems with our increased efficiency in the running game that we've tightened the reins on our passing game for some reason. You would think this would do the opposite and open our passing attack up. Hopefully the addition of RW will help this. Maybe teams have just figured out the Witten/TO thing and RW will help off-set that once again in our favor.

I'm also having a great deal of problem figuring out why our Defense is so useless at times. Wade's second year, this wasn't supposed to be a thing of concern I thought. Add in the obvious talent we also have on that side of the ball, we should be dominating imo. And now with Pac out, this could start getting worse, cause sadly it seemed he had turned into one of our main playmakers on that side of the ball. Which is another point of complaint- how is he the guy we were depending on when he had missed ALL of last season and supposedly lost a step?

Something is off in Big D this season and I pray to God we figure it out before we're just some team in the middle of the pack fighting for a playoff spot. The way it is, the Green Bay Packers with their million problems top to bottom are only 1 game behind us- AND look at the Giants up on top!

I think Romo sitting a week and Brad starting could be a blessing in disguise. Something needs to change in the mentality of this team and perhaps a week or two of the being forced to rally together could seriously help. We need to see we're a team for 60 minutes and not just an individual star here and there on particular plays. The 2 minute offense needs to show up for 60 and quit being so lackluster the other 56 minutes of the game. And the same with our defense.

That may be the problem. Jason Garrett. Remember the offense he came from, that was exactly what we did back then but it worked. Troy, Emmitt, Michael and Jay didn't need too many plays at their disposal and I remember it being stated how simple our offense used to be back then. Like insanely simple.

The problem could be Romo. He's no Troy in terms of style. Which his style fit an offense like this perfectly. Hand off to Emmitt all day long and then when it was time to pass, 3 step, 5 step, strike- then back to Emmitt. I think Romo takes too long making decisions, or his hesitation these days in making those decisions have halted due to the receivers NOT catching the ball. Which could swing it right around to TO's fault and his drops, encompassing an overuse of Witten. In the end, no timing and always having too look for those 2nd and 3rd receivers.
