What is your pet peeve when it comes to the Cowboys?

Always you can say that again,so frustrating and to the point now i know they will convert and have better chances then 3rd and 1,lol.

The way we have to overpay average cowboys players because of the hype they get just for being on the most popular team.

Hardly ever playing well on both sides of the ball in a game and no sense of urgency.

Too often, WR's are left wide open in our Secondary.
Pass rush seems to be just a half a second to later of sacking the QB
Giving up a 1st on a 3rd and long.

I'm sure these have already been mentioned. Mine goes not just this season, but back at least 10 years as there are similar trends.

1.) Not enough pressure on the quarterback, allowing also-ran QB's (Jay Fiedler in 2003 comes to mind) to have huge games
2.) Penalties, penalties, penalties. Did not matter if Wade or Parcells. There seems always to be that third down when we made a stop and you get defensive holding or unsportsmanlike conduct.
3.) Pass intereference, number (pick any), though so far not terrible this year
4.) the lack of tackling. It has been a joke for years
5.) How Jerry makes this a hollywood team. I would much rather not draw attention to the boys (there is enough already)
6.) This team specifically, until they prove otherwise, has no heart.

We are way to predictable on offense. Seems like we only run 7 plays.
1. Romo from center: handoff to Barber up the middle
2. Romo from center: looks at T.O. waits a moment, then handoffs to Barber.
3. Romo from center: Fakes handoff to Barber, handoff to T.O. on reverse.
4. Romo from Shotgun: pass to T.O. but incomplete because he is doubled
5. Romo From Shotgun: looks at T.O. wonders if Crayton or Austin is even on the field. Pass complete to Witten over the middle.
6. Romo from Shotgun: Everyone is covered dumpoff pass to Barber.
7. Romo from center: Nobody is open, Runs for his life or forces a throw. Usally results in a turnover. Hopefully we have scored by play 6.


Defense. Too much Soft Zone!!!! Spencer and Burnett can't go a damn game without getting a boo boo. We are guaranteed to give up one big play usally on 3rd and long. We can't get pressure on the QB unless it's late in the 4th quarter. Our 2 minute defense just flat out sucks. We can't seem to tackle anymore. Seems we are always a day late and a dollar short.

Special Teams. with the exception of a very few(Folk, Mcbriar, Davis and Choice) are just awful.

Mine is when the defensive allow to much time for the quarterback, when they can read a newspaper they have so much time....that drives me crazy

It doesn't happen often but when it does

it happens often and I also hate that sorry zone D we run. play bump in run and make the QB think sometimes
