I keep hearing them say they want to stash him on practice squad.

We shall see. But I think they are.
Strong lacks mobility, but was by far the best passer in this draft. Didn't he also have an injury?

Yeah, he's mobile like P. Manning is mobile. He has a knee replaced or something like that. Was told to never play football again. But he played, and killed it.

So teams are reluctant to go for him. But for backup.. for free?

I take him.

Seems like a lot of people are making the same mistake (in my simple mind only of course) at TE. We need a TE that can block. Our OL may struggle and a good blocking TE is imperative and McKeon will thus make the team. We can talk all we want about how we think the others can block but none of them are lining up and blocking like McKeon. TE is a separate position from WR for a reason.

as far as #3 RB goes my question is still which is best on STs because they aren’t getting touches most games and if injury strikes you can call them up from the practice squad if you like their running ability.
Comment about TEs withdrawn. With McKeon possibly banged up he may not make the 53 or maybe he makes the initial and then is put on IR. Perhaps we scour the cuts and pick up a TE who can block a little more than our other guys.

None of our backup QBs are at a level yet to be consistent. That is the problem.

They really should go snatch Carson Strong from the Eagles.

He's going to get cut, but only because the Eagles are going to try to hide him.

I can see a possibility that DiNucci may have more to him than meets the eye. I can't minimize his performance vs. Seattle. Maybe it has much to do with playing against an undeveloped opposition in that game, but he seemed like a different version of himself than what he had ever displayed before. The stark difference in his performance was absolutely surprising to me.

I think he might be well worth the risk of being given the #2 spot. That's just me being honest here. I haven't seen anything close to his performance from either Rush or Grier. I'm simply being totally honest. To me, it seemed like it might've been a shame that he didn't have another preseason game in which to prove himself and display more of his newfound development.

I was in shock when they cut Nooch. I thought he played the best out of the 3.

You think Tyler Smith sucks?

DaRon Bland?

Ferguson?

C'mon, that's three players right there in their rookie seasons, who can play right now.

Sam Williams, that's four..
LOL he was agreeing with you..yo might want to not smoke so much while responding, LOL

Nice post, agree with most of it, but you’ll likely get labeled a “Pom Pom Homer”, or something else negative. Cowherd says Dallas had the worst offseason in the NFL!
and you take that as bible? these clowns go BY NAMES on the back of jerseys and how much$$$ is spends too determine FA off seasons as do many fans..our draft was above average, UDFAs above Average, late additions with Turpin and Barr says FA isn't as bad as it appeared.

outside of our OL depth and them being young and green the rest of the TEAM looks pretty SET.. coming off a 12-5 season and the OL only weak group left to shore up, well id say that was a pretty good offseason. we wont know until all 17 games are palyed but pullease, Worst ? nope

first off, some of the worst teams in the NFL had the best offseason,

why??

umm several high draft picks as usual they always top 10 you know the names of those franchises, they also same teams or teams who finished at the bottom had more cap money to spend and took more risks etc..

when you finish 12-5 6-0 in nthe division, well how many holes do you have as 3 seed and didnt have as much cap space or high draft picks. if you simply look at it that way, we had an above average off season like maybe mid tier but that all we had to do..

biggest? still can be answered before 9-11-22 is OL depth, lots of changes can happen after Tuesdays cut downs.

You might want to go back to elementary and take some reading lessons because I already addressed this, bucko.

You better keep Ridgeway over Golston. Golston showed absolutely nothing all preseason in being able to stop the run in the middle or create pressure. Ridgeway did. Plus, Ridgeway is bigger, younger and stronger.

 ......

Rush is the backup. I like Grier's potential to develop but he did nothing in Sat game that would make me comfortable to have him as QB2. DiN looked better but still only PS material at this time.

You don’t have to sell me. You waste a lot of words overreacting. I’m pointing out the preposterousness of Cowherd’s statement. Duh.

At least Ridgeway as a rookie has shown a little something. What has Golston shown? That's all I'm asking @quickccc ...

Man, you seemed to be in quite a minority group, because i have heard no one in upper media talks that has seen anything from Ridgeway this summer.

One thing both candidates have are they may be both Quinn related picks, and Cowboys may seem to be hesitant in cutting their draft picks year or two.
Ridgeway may actually make the team off pure draft status alone.

Not play status, but draft status.

I don't give 2 peanuts what any dumb media thinks. I know what I've seen. Ridgeway is a run stopper.

Once again, I'm asking you, what has Golston shown or done this preseason?

Apparently, Golston has shown position flex. Quinn seems to like him, so that’s good enough for me. What has Ridgeway shown, besides big, aggressive white guy?
