True, but they moved Lee to WLB because there is less wear and tear there compared to MLB. I think they would be reluctant to move him back.

That was justification. They really moved him because McClain isn't an outside linebacker.

Smith seems like a humble kid and a great leader. He plays like a guided missile. He is the type of guy you build a defense around.

I watched his combine interviews and he handled that with class I've never seen from a 20 year old. Can you imagine being projected to be a top 10 pick only to have a freak injury occur in your last game? Then to top things off, the scouting combine is only 2 hours from your house. You show up and see what the others are doing, wishing you weren't hurt and could do the same. I give this guy props for even showing up to the combine. I don't know that I could have stomached that if in the same situation.

Pretty sure that 99% of the board members here would sign up for having to wait a year after we had just drafted Ray Lewis. Yes, this is just my opinion but after watching all but one of Jaylon's college games, there is no doubt in my mind that we just got ourselves the next Ray Lewis whom comes to us without all baggage. Physical talents aside, he knows how to manage a defense, puts his guy in the right positions and leads with his play rather than his mouth. Just wanted to throw my opinion out there so in 5 years, I can look back to show my wife that her husband knows what he's talking about. 15 years later, I still am an idiot and have yet to win an argument or have yet to be informed that 'you were right'.:thumbup:

Jaylon is a great player; reading reports, some had him going 3-4 round due to his injury. I feel Jones was too quick to grab him and maybe could have grabbed him in the 3rd at least.

Other than that, its possible the Cowboys are very confident of Jaylons progress and that maybe that info was leaked and another team was rumored to grab him first.

I don't know, but something odd had to occur for Jones to grab him in the second with some real good defensive players still on the board.

Let's all hope Jaylon:

Makes a full recovery.
Can still play like he did in college and better.
Doesn't end up with a glass knee that keeps him on and off the bench.
And that other players won't be targeting his knee.

the Pats were going to take him, so you're wrong on the 3rd round part.

With all due respect, it just seems like whenever there's a reach, the "rumor" is that someone was going to nab said player.

Nevertheless, I hope the pick pans out. But I also hope we get some picks today worthy of starting or contributing this year.

ok, so should we believe people in the know, or should we believe what YOUR gut is telling you (while you have no real information)?
