What kind of game does QC have today?

We could be at least average with our personnel. Our pass rush could be at least average with our personell.

Which is about what we are, at least from a statistical stand point.

We have no play makers except for Roy. We need talent.

And our QB can't move our offense against the likes of the bengals.

That ain't no joke. VT provided more turnovers (4), than he did points (3).

Are you f'in kidding me? Our pass rush would have to take it up about 5 notches to reach "average".

IMO the biggest problem has been no GM at the ranch.

Is Zimmer A problem? Maybe, I would like to see some talent of the D before making that judgement.

Our secondary has 1 player, we have maybe 1 LB and 2 decent D line players.

the secondary has two DB of the yr award winners in Williams and Terrance Newman,Zimmer has made both look like pedstrian players this yr...Greg Ellis is a good player, LaRoi Glover is a good player...Marcellus Wiley had two double digit sack years and was an explosive pass rush guy in Buffalo and San Diego (before last yr)...alot of people though Dat Nguyen should have made the pro bowl last yr...Coakley has played in 3 pro bowls, incl last yr...there are ample enough players here, but the scheme is absolutely ridiculous...how many dominant players ar on the Commanders defense? Greg Williams has done everything for them that Zimmer cant do here

It's funny, I could already hear some anti-qc people saying "Well Carter has a good RB, a good OL, and good WRs, he SHOULD be playing well".

That was my whole argument all along. Get some talent around the guy before you judge him. Hopefully the guy has a good career in the NFL. I wish him well.

I am not looking to be arguementative, just asking a question. Couldn't the same thing be said about Zimmer, just give him some talent before we flush him?

Zimmer has enough talent to be AT LEAST average. He has two good players in the secondary, 3 solid LBs, 1 good DT, and 1 solid DE. That's not great, but that's enough to do a lot more then he's done. Period.

he has been given more talent...every yr we've added talent, and this yrs results are on pace to be the worst ever for the Cowboys in a 16 game season...worse than in 88 and 89,and there is VASTLY MORE GOOD PLAYERS on this defense than on the 88 or 89 team..he doesnt coach players up, he coaches them down and on top of being a poor coordinator he is a TERRIBLE DB coach

I agree with that 100%. An average DCoord would know how to take advantage of the talents of our playmakers. Zimmy tries to put round pegs into square holes.

About Zimmer.....I keep remembering when we were last in the NFL in defense. Then, he needed help from Campo for the following year and the defense got better.

Zimmer has plenty of players that are good on defense. Zimmer's problem is that he keeps playing them out of position, IMO.

RW is being kep from playing to his strengths. In college, he played much closer to the line. Even last year, when Woodson was healthy, RW was playing further back than he was accustomed to doing.

Our lack of production on defense, IMO, has more to do with what our players are asked to do as opposed to who we have.

Do we need better players? Yes. Should we be playing as poorly as we are with the players that we DO have? Nope.

I will give you Williams & Newman. But Williams is playing out of position because of the loss of Woodson. The rest of our secondary has been in flux all year because we have had zero talent at our second safety position, our second CB position and our nickel back. Not average talent but zero talent.

I believe I said 2 decent DL players, Ellis is a average to slightly above average player. Glover is only a good player when he has someone playing next to him because of his size to take the double team. Say what you want about Blade this year, but he played well last year and it helped our whole D. Carson sucks and I can not even believe you would even mention Wiley as a decent player.

Coakley is a warrior but he is 32 and lost it, singleton is terrible and Dat can only make plays if the D line keeps the blockers off of him. Why i mention Blade & Stewart in this regard last year they performed this job last year.

The Skins have 2 very good CB's, Smoot is having a great year and Springs is playing very very well. They are both talented players, the issue with Springs has been injury. Taylor is a star (talent wise) in the making.

Wynn, Griffin and Daniels have been good players in this league.

Marcus Washington is one of top young LB's in the league. Pierce is a good LB.

Skins have more talent.

But again, you seem to make black and white arguements. Is Zimmer a problem? Maybe, but to say our lack of talent on D has not contributed to our demise as a D this year when we were #1 last year is all Zimmers fault is beyond me.

Are you kidding me!

He has been given talent this year?

WOW, at least now I know what I am dealing with.

Good luck with GROZ!

So because you say period means you are right?

Wow, maybe you can help me with the meaning of life?

You really think Singleton is a solid LB?

Coakley is a warrior, but over the kill at 32.

Williams is playing out of position because of the loss of Woodson.

Roy was playing out of position since his first game with Dallas.

I don't know the meaning, but I have a feeling you need to get one (a life that is).

I KNOW he's a solid LB. He's not great. He's not spectactular, but he is SOLID. Coakley is also solid. Nguyen could make a probowl or two with a real DCoord.

That's right and we also had a almost interchangeable player in Rod.

Rod?

Please don't tell me you just called DARREN Woodson "Rod".

boysfanindc said:
Yes, and the reason is we have never had the players to allow him to play were he should.

OMG. This is getting pathetic.

I believe we have our very first Zimmer Apologist.
