What linemen could Dallas pull a trade for?

Costa and second for Beadles. Make it happen Jerry!

Auhhh....... no. I loved Zane Beadles coming out of Utah a few years ago. Wanted to draft him but there is no way a 2nd and Costa would be a good trade IMO.

Waters isn't coming for less than Moore would have signed for. He turned down $4m from the Pats.

I think people are panicking too much about the guard position. First off, most of the reports from camp about Arkin have been pretty good and he looked good in the game. Secondly, Bernadeau has just got on the practice field, so let's give him a little time to get into the swing of things before we start poo pooing him as a legit starter there. Broaddus, who has been skeptical about Arkin, says he has improved quite a bit and also states that Bernadeau is better than him. We might be ok as we are.

Finally, there will be viable candidates that are cut for one reason or another. Too much money as a backup, etc. If there is a need, we can get someone without giving up a draft pick and without throwing out obscene money.

I think the Cowboys are in better shape on their offensive line this season than they were last season at the same point.

The left side and the middle of the OL is looking really good. It's the question marks along the right side and the depth that concern me.

Listening to Stephen Jones talk yesterday, I'm going to guess that Waters wants more money than they're willing to spend right now, and that the team's going to stick it out and see what happens when rosters start to pare down. If we're going to trade anybody, it'd have to be a relatively valuable commodity at a position of depth (John Randle, maybe, for a promising young guard).

I wouldn't trade John Randle. Dude's a beast. The way he paints his face, and terrorizes the other team's QB...talk about intimidating. We need more guys like that. Besides, I thought we brought him out of retirement to be the 3-technique in Kiffin's defense. :p

I think we stand pat with our current OL and see what shakes out...it appears Leary is winning a job, so we really just have to get one more OL to step up...besides, I don't want to trade any of our young talent

Free's been solid so far in camp.

One starting position has been iffy so far in camp... RG.

As an aside, if we flip this to the DL, word out of Philly is Trent Cole and Brandon Graham aren't exactly taking to the new defensive scheme and that one of them might not make the team. If that is the case, I'd be all over either if I were the Cowboys.

It's something I'm going to keep my eye on in the preseason games.

Chris Kuper from Denver might be the odd man out and a cap cut. Not a bad player just coming off an injury.

Here's hoping they cut Graham. I think he has some real potential in a 43 defense. I bet Marinelli and Kiffin could get him to the QB a lot.

Yeah I listen to NFL Radio on Sirius quite a bit, and one of the hosts, Kirwin I think, is always mentioning which teams will have extra players that will have to be let go, if not traded. The Commanders have extra OT, Ravens DL and OLB, and the Eagles DE. Both the Eagles and Raven are short at WR, so they will seek a trade for some of their players. He said trades will start to happen after the second pre season game, and certainly after the third.

And no, I don't have a link to what they said!
