The way I see it, CCBoy, is Dallas should expect to get a minimum of four players this April, providing they do their due diligence, who can have a significant impact. Is it a challenging proposition based on their draft history? Absolutely, but the opportunity is there.

With new addition in the scout department, things should be pretty ship shape come draft time....

Well Hell I would take the 2013 or 2014 version of health. Missing 1 game is better than missing 12.

No doubt, but I don't think QB health is like a fine wine where it gets better with age.

By significant impact, do you mean in 2016? Or, down the road?

You would have to go back to 2005 to find a Cowboy draft class that had that many significant contributors in their rookie seasons. Getting four in one class to significantly contribute immediately is not that common.

No, not common at all, but the opportunity is there. That's something.

Mo Wilkerson. I wish Jets would trade him to us(Giants) but I don't think they would ever do that. But for Dallas 2nd round pick, he can be had. Perfect fit for Cowboys I believe.

Jerry putting all his faith in Marinelli being able to turn trash into treasure once more

And exactly what has he done to make you think he is capable? Since he has been here...He hasn't developed one player. D-Law was already made for him. All he had to do was get healthy.

It's like going to a car auction with the idea you aren't going to spend more than $1000 on a car.

It's nice to have a budget but at the end of the day you're left with a 1973 Ford Pinto and a 1984 Yugo.

Its like going to Wal Mart and they have the giant bargin bin of videos for $5 and you look through them and realize that the movies are all 15 years old:laugh:

At the end of the day, you get what you pay for is the lesson here.

Serious question: Can Jonathon Foosball play DE?

There is some early footage of Gaziel that may support just that notion.

Dwight Freeney is still out there. Would be a good situational pass rusher for the right money. I know he is old, but he still knows how to get to the QB. Lead the Cardinals with 8 sacks in only 11 games. Might be a good teacher for our young guys.

I think this offseason lets everyone know that the cowboys are not in a win now mode. they talk a big game but usually don't play a big game in my mind they wont win the east and wont make the playoffs they are middle of the pack to lower half of the nfc.
I'm shocked.

I really want Zeke but it's looking like we'll have to take Bosa or some pash-rusher due to what we've done in free agency (or rather what we haven't done)
