With Bell at 205 i don't want him at LB whatsoever....enough of that failed experiment. Keep him where he belongs at one of the S positions. Him at SS and Donovan at FS would be fine with me. Gotta get some REAL LBs on this team, have we not learned anything?

This is the interesting position battle with Zim taking over. I see Bell going back to SS to battle with Dono for the position, and Thomas battle Hooker for FS. Izzy probably should be a CB, just my humble opinion.

Dono bust coverages sometimes which Zim won't like, but is Bell stronger in coverage? Also, Thomas has SS size and is better in coverage than Dono and Bell.

I fear Bell will get exposed in deeper, more traditional Safety coverages.

He excels at covering TE's or RB's in short-to-intermediate routes. He is a liability in run defense when's he's in the box.

Zimmer uses his safeties interchangeably, so I'd expect him to be in a rotation with Hooker and Wilson.

The games I was able to attend, I like to watch the back 7 since you don't always get to see that on TV. He struggled in space and was not great when he had to flip his hips and get depth. He played well when he shuffled and could break on plays in front of him.

We will see.
