Zimmer's defenses were run more traditionally than DQ's, which always featured a lot of tweeners. Bell is a SS in Zim's scheme, so he will have a lot more deep coverage responsibility. Honestly, I don't think he's going to handle those too well, and he's not really a fit.
He may try and bulk up and move to Will, but his best move would be to request a trade to Washington for a late round pick. It makes sense for everyone IMO... Washington isn't going to draft a dude better than Bell in the 5th or 6th, DQ gets a building block for his defensive rebuild, and we replenish some pick ammo that we're currently short on.
