Besides Mcfadden what running back do you guys want....... If I had to choose I would pick Chris Johnson from East Carolina.. and Ill be honest Im going on one game of his I saw and a few highlights of his but man this guy is fast.. ..people are testing how tough he is but I saw that one long touchdown run against Boise St he ran right through two tackles and just coasted to the endzone...also I know he might not be the best overall RB in this draft but he is extremely fast and would be a perfect 3rd down back..plus the guy is a hell of kick returner.. just wanna see what you guys think and give some reasons

McFadden isn't going to be there, and there are plenty of options at RB beyond Felix Jones. Felix Jones is, from what I have seen, a prototypical outside runner, with plenty of speed.

If Rashard Medenhall is going to be there, you can draft him no questions asked.

Ray Rice is also another RB that has way more promise than Felix Jones. I would take him over Felix.

I think most people who tend to view Felix Jones as the logical choice, is because he is different than Barber. I don't necessarily view it in this light. I would say that one needs to take the best available RB available, and shouldn't draft based upon a different running style than Barber.

I think You'd have to include Mendenhall and possibly Stewart in the same group as McFadden as far as likelihood of their availability. Let's throw those three out of the mix.

While Felix Jones is better outside than inside, he's still fairly adept at hitting holes inside the tackles. I guess I'm trying to say that he's not a one dimensional runner.

I also wouldn't say that Rice has more "promise" than Jones. Personally, I'm torn between the two. I think Rice is the safer pick, while Jones is the better compliment. Tell you what though, if something were to happen to Barber, I'd feel a lot better with Rice back there.

I think at this point, you'd have to say that Jones is the hotter commodity as far as the draft is concerned, so I'd lean on taking Jones at the 22 spot whereas I think Rice could be had at 28, and possibly later.

I really like Chris Johnson in the second and later, and I'm leaning towards feeling the same way about Jamaal Charles. I love the speed there.

I'm terribly wary of Hart, Choice, Smith, and Slaton.

I'd prefer Ray Rice, if we're going to take a RB somewhere in the 1st round. If so, I'd take RR at 28.

If it's the 2nd round, you'd have to tell me who was still available to choose from . . . .

I'm thinking Ray Rice at #28.

I like Rice but I don't think he will go in the 1st rd and have doubt he will be drafted in the 2nd.

Wouldn't mind Felix if he's there at our 2nd 1st rounder (CB should be our first pick) and certainly like Mendenhal, outside of that I'd be willing to take Rice, Johnson or Charles at our current position in the 2nd round. Johnson and Charles would probably make better complements to Barber, but I am a big fan of Rice.

I'd bet good money he doesn't make it to our 2nd round pick.

I'm high on:
Felix Jones, Chris Johnson, Ray Rice and Steve Slaton.

Luke warm on:
Stewart, Mendenhall, Charles, and Forte.

Do not want:
Kevin Smith, Mike Hart, Choice, and Forsett.

Intrigued by (as late round picks or UDFAs):
Boyd, Allen Patrick, and Anthony Aldridge.

You may be right. I have nothing against Rice but based off what I have heard and read I would not be surprised if he slips in the draft as many feel there are other RB prospect who are rating higher. I would guess after the combines we will get a clearer picture of how teams feel about the different prospects

Felix Jones and Slaton.

I think Jones would be an excellent compliment to MBIII and is tough enough to handle pass protection needs. Great speed.

Slaton is a home run threat that did well against all levels of competition and is excellent in space and catching the ball.

Either one would be OUTSTANDING!

Hey guys and ladies if any are on this forum I know I don't reply to much but I will give a little heads up I live about 15 miles from east carolina and had the oppertunity to chris alot to me he is built just like MBIII I know he is a lot faster I don't think he will go in the first round but I would love for the cowboys to get him he would make a great running back he also has great hands for catching out of the backfield and taking it downfield so in my opinion he would be a tremedous player for our boys to get
