I’ve watched Elliot play and it’s obvious.

Doesn’t take much explanation really.
Are their any guys in this draft who you would say is inferior to Zeke?
How about any guys who are unsigned free agents?
Or is this one of those Zeke sucks and a ham sandwich is better takes?

Allen wouldn't be a bad consolation prize at this point, but no way he lasts until the late 5th.

Guerendo and Estime are both interesting.

1-Rico Dowdle
2-Ezekiel Elliot
3-Malik Davis
4-Deuce Vaughn on the PS

Royce Freeman gets cut.

I think that's what Dallas will walk into the regular season with behind the QB.

Possible RBs that teams might cut that Jerry could sign:
Trey Sermon
Clyde Edwards-Helaire

With the options we have at RB what other choice do we have? He had 650 yards rushing last season with 3 TDs, which was a lot more than Dowdle. Zeke also had 51 receptions for over 300 yards and 2 TDs. It’s not like he can’t help us. It’s not likely we’ll come up with a better back with the picks we have left.
There is a draft ya know.

Guerendo is the last interesting prospect for me, this draft doesnt have the speedsters at RB

Yeah Zeke needs to retire.

That’s where we should all be.

I just don't see any of the remaining guys left being contributors. They had oppprtunities for Jaylen Wright who seemed like the last immediate contributor, but obviously didn't like him enough.

Maybe they pull off a day 3 trade for a back that will be displaced post draft?

I think his age scares people. You just wonder for how long…..
His four seasons in Madison, Guerendo's playing time was akin to an actor making cameo appearances in movies / TV shows.
His production in one season at Louisville is better that his four seasons combined with the Badgers.

Wright, Allen, Irving and a few more RBs should be long gone by the time the Cowboys pick.
Guys who could be around in the late 5th:
1. Ray Davis
2. Audric Estime
3. Isaac Guerendo
4. Jase McClellan
5. Blake Watson
6. Tyrone Tracy Jr.
7. Rasheen Ali
8. Isaiah Davis

I highly doubt Zeke is coming back to be a bell cow. If anything he is a short yardage and 3rd down pass protection back.
This will be a rotation no matter what.

I miss the old days of dominating RB's but lets be honest.
Look at all the big named free agent RB's, look at any RB in the league last year not CM and what you will find is just about every one of them was a 3.7-4.2 YPC guy. The more carries the lower the YPC ect.
Almost any back around can get you the same 3.7-4.2 YPC that the free agents signed, the highly drafted rookies get you. Its all the same and mostly just comes down to blocking. The only real skill left that may differentiate some guys is the short yardage and pass protection.
