What team(s) in the NFC East should we be concerned about?

Philly eagles - it will simply depend what Kellen Moore/Vic Fangio will or will not add to Philly team. Stronger or Weaker ?
Revitalize Hurts- Emphasize Barkley ? Hurts if on his game can damage on per run or pass and he has dangerous WRs in Brown- Smith
i still question their secondary and will Fangio jumpstart underachievers in his ne 3-4 scheme ?

Washington- they have a new and talented rookie QB, and Terry McLaurin - but is that it ? A team that is gonna have to surprise more with
coach scheme than overwhelming skill set on offense, imo. Defensively they have the two DTs Allen/Payne, but have they really tortured us ?
Tyler-Martin- Beebe should handle them. Added LB Wagner but how much is left ? DE Armstrong does not scare me- and they may have worst secondary in NFL

NYG- i think they are a mess from coaching to QB ...their OL is still in shambles as is their secondary. Their QB is garbage. Danny Dimes may be another version of Kenny Pickett, another first rd. bust QB. Only one player may scare you on offense in new rookie WR Nabers ... but who does he have throwing to him ? ...This is the weak sister of the NFC east - They will draft in top 5-6 picks and await a new QB ...and a new HC.

Philly-our biggest most hated rival, they have weapons on offense, and some on defense. It's always the game of the week when we play them!

Washington-They have our former DC as their head coach, they've taken some of our players. They drafted a rookie QB who will be their starter, they made some decent moves in free agency. Are they the Commanders of old??

NYG-How will their QB play, they have a new toy in Nabers who people are crowning as the next great WR, they have some players as well, but can their defense hold up which may be their strong suit. Or will their high paid QB finally step up to make them competitive????

I don't see NYG or Washington doing much for a few years let alone this season. The division belongs to Philly and Dallas for now.

As the GB game proved, they have to be concerned about every team they play. Game plan for every team, every week.
Perfectly legitimate point Chuck. Especially till we see this team in action, see if this defense can stop the run and see if our offense CAN run! Those are our 2 big question marks. If we can run and stop the run, we have a good shot at controlling the NFCE, and beyond that who knows, maybe even GB.

I don't think we can even beat our division opponents cheerleaders.

Commanders gonna surprise some people.

Daniels is gonna be a problem.
No he's not. That guy has problems, and it showed alot in the preseason. He has no awareness and he panicks at any sight of pressure, in which he will just abandon his reads.

Same as it has been.

Philly will be pretty good, Washington and NYG are both terrible. There is no reason for optimism for either of those teams this year. WAS might give up 40 points a game.

It the NFC East…all the games are tough and no teams in the division should be taken lightly regardless of record.

what makes you say that? (the 40 pts) they have a stout d line, added wagner, forbes *should* be markedly better, and quinn. there is both reason for optimism, and zero chance their defense is terrible.

Absolutely agree. Washington should be very concerned about their secondary but other than that I think they have a very solid football team. I think they are still probably a year out from truly contending for anything, but I dont see them as an easy 2 wins to pencil in for the Cowboys this season. NFCE could be surprisingly tough this year.

I don’t think things have changed drastically , The Cowboys main concern in the NFCE is the Eagles .

I don't think this is 'our year'. Wouldn't be shocked if we were 3rd in the NFCE this year.

I would be shocked if the Giants are ahead of us, though.

Their defense was terrible last year, Forbes stinks, they have no passrushers, and Wagner doesn't matter. That's not to mention the fact that their offense is going to stink too, and put them in a lot of disadvantageous situations.

Quinn is not going to scheme a good defense, that is not what he does. He's going to sit in Cover 3 because they don't have any cover corners and get torched every week.

They are going to be terrible as a team, and probably be the worst defense in the league.
