What does his attitude have to do with him respecting people? How can you come to the assumption based on him being released? Just because you bump heads with your co-workers doesn't mean you don't respect people. However, your bias is obv clear so continuing in this is pointless but you got your wish TO is no longer a cowboy enjoy it.

Disagreeing with a coworker about work related issues is perfectly okay.

Speculating about his sexual orientation in the media is disrespectful, no matter how you try to spin it.

Mort said on espn he only got one "yes" to T.O. coming to another team and that was Oakland.

The question is does T.O. wants to go to Oakland, I don't think he will just play for anyone

PFT is building a long list of teams who are not interested in TO...

Found this quote rather harsh from Commanders V.P. of football operations Vinny Cerrato says that the team has no interest. “[Owens’s representatives] called us three years ago before he went to Dallas, and we didn’t have interest then,” Cerrato said. “Why would we have interest when he’s three years older now? We have no interest.”

That pretty much sums it up. Jerry was bidding against himself the first time. I can't imagine there's going to be more demand now that he's 3 years older and been kicked off yet another team for lockerroom antics.

Just listened to Norm...

He talked to 4 different NFL scouts who all told him TO has lost an incredible amount of quickness, can't get off the line, gets frustrated and taken out of the game against the press and if you were giving his route running a grade he would get a D, at best. A designed 12 yard out route goes anywhere from a 15 yard out to a 9 yard out. They view him as a #3 WR on a good team. The only way he's ever a #1 WR again is if he goes to a horrible team like the Raiders who just don't have anyone else and will just force passes to him to feed his ego.

That is the most idiotic thing I have ever read in my entire ****ing life. Those "scouts" either have never even bothered to watch Owens play, or deserve to die for their incompetence.

Owens was BETTER in 2008 than he was in 2007. He was faster, quicker, stronger, had more consistent hands, and blocked better.

Only someone who looks at nothing but box scores would think he's declined from 2007. His numbers were better in 2007 because the Cowboys actually schemed to take advantage of him that year...and the entire unit played better as a whole...and stayed healthy.

John Madden used to say "I don't know why teams try to jam Owens at the line cause it never works" it works now and very well. he's fast once he gets a head of steam(hence why teams jam him now) and he's not the same guy he once was. you are being fooled by his muscles.

how about Jacksonville, they really really really could use a playmaker at WR.

Tell about it. They have no WRs there. But TO's MO does not seem to fit that outfit at all....but they do have Matt Crack(er) Jones.

Plus, if he got crossways with Garrardzilla, he may litterly have his head popped off like a little plastic doll. :)

Yeah, heaven forbid we actually look at meaningless boxscores (aka game production) when we can look at more meaningfull things ... like his muscles.

Owens only had 1 great game last year ... against a horrible 49ers team in disarray after a midseason coaching change against a newbie head coach. Throw away that one game, and over Owens' last 19 games he's averaged 3.8 catches and 50 yards per game, despite being among the Top 10 WRs in targets. We wanted to run Patrick Crayton out of town for that kind of production as a #2 WR.

I agree, he might set out a season because of his pride, if no good teams make an offer

Lighten up Francis.

Trent Dilfer said he noticed last year a decline in Owens' ability to stop and start quickly, get off the line, and to simply get open. Owen's straight-ahead speed was still good once he got a head of steam, but he had obviously lost some quickness.

I don't think Trent Dilfer deserves to die for that, and I hope he's around for awhile because I think he's ESPN's best analyst.

i can honestly see him going there indy or pitt and making our organization look even dumber then it already hascshown to be

what a complete bunch of ****ing morons

this organization is clueless and has no idea what its doing.

i really didnt think jerry was stupid enough to sucome to the pressure of the media and bull****. nothing owens did warranted releasing him

jason garretts ****ty performance not only helped to ruin our season last yr but it cost us our best WR

THERES still coaches on this staff who didnt even perform last yr and their still on this roster and we outright release one of the hardest working guys on this team. one of the guys that actually gave a **** about winning

what the hell has happened to the cowboys?

i wish T.O the best wherever he goes. i still have tons of respect for this guy no matter how anyone tries to potray his team here

AMEN!!!:starspin

He's going to the Raider because they're the only team that will take him. No good club will touch him. We were the only ones stupid enough to take him last time.

keep thinking that.

I will. Teams are already lining up left and right to deny any interest. No one but Jerry was seriously interested in him 3 years ago when he still had some gas in the tank. And I'll pull up this thread and laugh at you and the rest of The Cult when he ends up signing with the Raiders. Just like I laughed at you when they said TO was never a problem in the lockeroom and any reports of him being released are media generated BS.

Honestly, the media works wonder this isn't the first time I've under estimated what the media could influence but whatever. He won't end up in Oakland any team he goes to will have a winning record. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in San Diego TBH.

If he doesn't get picked up then I will think that the NFL is rigged which I think already so this will just be further proof especially if a guy like Joey Galloway gets a job before him.

Colts can easily draft a very good WR to go with Reggie Wayne. No need at all to take on TO.

You are kidding right? You will think the NFL is rigged if a proven trouble maker does not find a fourth team to play for?
