What team will TO sign with? *MERGED*

ESPN First Take reported the Giants want no part of him.
They have enough problems with Plaxico Bust-a-cap-in-my-own-arse! I cannot see them pursuing Owens!

The Raiders would be a good spot for him, the AFC West is right for the taking. Russell needs a big time WR and Owens would give him that. That offense would be deadly! Another interesting choice is Indy now that Harrison is gone...

I'm sure the Giants will be interested... I'm not so sure about the Deadskins.
The Giants will not be interested. Maybe the Lions. LMAO!

I think he replaces Harrison.......I bet Manning could use TO the right way....

Lol you really think he's going to the Colts? THE COLTS? With that lockerroom and Peyton Manning?

No way.

I'm betting Minny

I wonder if they were waiting to see if he would be cut

it makes too much sense, reunite w/ Brad Childress and the WCO

Who thought Moss would go to NE, with their locker room and all, BTW they went 16-0 with Moss the headcase......

One thing you have to remember is Manning is a leader, Brady is a leader, Romo is not a leader.........

You have to be insane.:lmao2:

Why wouldn't he go there after all he wants a ring and that has to be the closet team to achieving that him and Randy Moss + Welker.

Just listened to Norm...

He talked to 4 different NFL scouts who all told him TO has lost an incredible amount of quickness, can't get off the line, gets frustrated and taken out of the game against the press and if you were giving his route running a grade he would get a D, at best. A designed 12 yard out route goes anywhere from a 15 yard out to a 9 yard out. They view him as a #3 WR on a good team. The only way he's ever a #1 WR again is if he goes to a horrible team like the Raiders who just don't have anyone else and will just force passes to him to feed his ego.

Brad Childress is the reason I would think they would be against the move. Not a good experience in Philly.

God I hope not. If I see TO wearing Monk's #81 I would become physically ill. :(

I see TO signing with New England for Vet minimum.

That's what I see. He goes somewhere that gives him the best chance for a superbowl. The locker room and the coaching staff can handle him, and since Dallas just gave him a 12 million dollar gift for one year of work (what a dumb contract) he does not need to make big money.

The Patriots don't need him or want that kind of personality in their lockerroom. They have no reason to do it.

He's still a great WR. People said the same thing about Randy Moss. Welker will be the #3. It'd be perfect.

His career is OVER, period. It's not even in question. He's done. Finished.

Can't believe people are delusional enough to think somebody will sign him.

Because he is still a productive receiver. He did catch 10 TD's and had 1052 yards on a team without it's starting QB for 3 weeks and putrid offensive game plans.

Someone will pick him up. But it will be a one year mercenary deal. Like Deion Sanders did late in his career.

You don't understand they don't need him and wouldn't want to screw up their lockerroom. There is no reason to take that kind of gamble. They don't need him.
