What the Super Bowl teams are paying their RB Positions

He tore his leg up.

That speed is not the same now.
I wouldn't be too sure of that. An ankle sprain and what seems to be a clean fracture don't seem to be big issues if you're going into the offseason. I'm sure he will be limited during the offseason, but no reason he shouldn't be 100% come time for camp unless there is a ligament or other type of damage that we dont know about.

We get it. It was a bad contract. Nothing you can do about it now except learn from it ......... and make Pollard the highest paid RB ever! Lol.
No we need a couple hundred more threads about it. We just don;t talk enough about it.

\And YES! We do need to give Tony that contract, so we can hate on HIM when he 'ain;t living up to it".

We need to put that 10 million down on it for good measure. Since we're so sure.

The Chiefs spent a 1st rounder on Clyde Edwards Helaire a few years ago and he has not shown much. They drafted Pacheco in the 7th round and already has proven to be the better player.

Zeke was such a terrible pick...and because they took him so high, they were going to extend him for sure. All that for only four years of worthy production. He needed to have a Derrick Henry-like career to justify everything they spent on him.
The saddest part of all is that he's not even worth bringing back at a reduced price.

10,000 all purpose yards is not a wasted pick.
EVeyrone blames zeke for us running him in the ground, hiring a complete noob OC, running off #1 WRs that help take the pressure off. And a joke of run block o-line.

Now granted...zeke's fell off for sure. But...talk about a scapegoat sheesh. I'm hoping the Cowboys fix the o-line and NFCEast run game by next year or we'll trun on Tony too.

Clyde Edward's was never ever fast and he was not big. How the Chiefs picked him number 1 a few years ago was nuts. Unlike us KC learned from their mistake moved on.

Zeke has to be gone. If he had been cut from another team for cap reasons he would be lucky to be brought in to training camp to try to earn a job. The league can see there is no tread on the tires.

Pollard maybe franchised and then draft 2 rookies.

We already have fans ready to pull the trigger on another 1st round draft pick.

I am honestly for dropping zeke pollard and keeping davis and drafting Robinson or Gibbs.
Bijan Robinson is widely projected to be a first round pick. I hope you are not suggesting using another first round pick on a RB!

The question is not that Zeke's contract is terrible, the question is, is it the worst in franchise history? Gotta be close.

Texas RB Bijan Robinson might be available for our first pick. Do we really want to go into next year with an over the hill Zeke, a returning from injury Pollard, and the current bench? I think Robinson might be a great running back for years barring injury and it isn't too soon to take a looksee at this position.

We can't improve at QB as we are stuck with DAK and the defense is good enough that we would be wasting a pick to take a defensive player unless it was a generational pick. Running backs are only good for 5-7 years and we are at the limit with what we have now.

Lol, wow I couldn’t think of a worse case scenario they could go with than this. Run based 12 personnel offense and you go with a kid that never had 100 carries or 500 yards in a season!
My point is let them both go Zeke/Pollard and start over with fresh new group.
