Going to a place like Hooters and hearing some clown who knows nothing of football talk like they are an expert. ( Real example)- This big Tennessee Volunteer fan who looked so stupid and inbred he probably couldn't spell Tennessee that QB Johnathan Crompton could go in the 1st round over Andrew Luck & RG3. I just wanted to beat him up because he looked ignorant as $@#% and Tennessee was the best ever in his opinion. He was one these guys that want to fight over the team say vs a Alabama fan. Yet he never went to college himself. The idiot of the bar who harasses the waitresses with his Cooter Crap to come back to his trailor and see his Tennessee Volunteer flags. Like these Babes want goober it up with his drunken sorry a#$

Haha, last couple of times there always seemed to be a loud, boisterous bozo usually with his ballcap on backwards telling horrible jokes trying to impress the waitress. I am thinking she doesn't care about you, she only is being nice to get a bigger tip.

The person on your flight putting their bag in the overhead that has no awareness other passengers are waiting on them. They place their bag slowly on the overhead than shift it a few times. Then they begin to rummage through it as if they are the only passenger on the flight. It annoys me but I'm also impressed. How can someone be so disconnected of their surroundings and circumstances. They will probably live 10 years longer than me.
Probably the same people who stop in the doorway at the supermarket to read the flyers.

Similar to when someone takes way too long to leave their parking spot in a crowded lot. My aunt does this and could strangle her...I swear she feeds off of that tension...meanwhile the poor car is just sitting there with their blinker on for 5 minutes waiting while she gets "adjusted"

:laugh:I've seen this a few times myself...am guessing the owner/supervisor can't pull the plug (probably sticky with unemp. vs sued for wrongful termination?) But meanwhile you got Homer Simpson turning the corner coming to show you how to work out...something's "off" at this gym.
We have one of those guys at my gym. The head guy. Watches his client train while he sits on his butt twirling the string of a whistle. He has a bald head and beard and I always want yell when he enters the gym from his office. " USA! USA! USA! HULK HOGAN IS GOING TO KICK YOUR BUTT IVAN KOLOFF!!".

-Bad drivers (unaware drivers, rude ones or inconsiderate ones that never realize how stupid they are impeding traffic, millions of other examples). I drive 120 miles daily, see a lot of this.

-mobile sites and similar apps .Amazed to this day that mobile sites/apps continue to lack so many features from desktop sites despite more people probably using their phone over an actual computer. For example there are tons of features missing on ebay if you try listing items from your phone.

-irrelevant, boring, or completely useless ads/commercials. When I close them out and it asks why I always say "inappropriate". If I get a survey asking about what brands I'll buy from or which I've heard of I always say "none". These don't tick me off, just are very annoying

-every other iteration of windows (vista, 8, 11)

-movie producers, directors, actors who think ruining a character or story is justified instead of simply making something entirely new to fit their lack of creativity. Then those same people attack customers for not buying lousy products.

-sites that sell products, says the item is in stock/available, but doesn't actually keep an updated inventory so actually almost nothing is in stock. You then find out 3 days after buying the item and only after you ask about shipping status.

-evil people disguising themselves as high and mighty, so many things we can't talk about :(

-almost any mechanic/tech, sales person, shop manager - pretty much anyone in the car world. I can't explain why it's this way, but when it comes to communication there is a major disconnect on receiving proper info. There's also an issue where mechanics can't seem to properly fix a problem or fix a problem without introducing other problems.

I've had shops quote me $1000 for a list of suspension repairs (generic parts+labor) on failed inspections when it only ended up being a $40 ball joint (was a specific aftermarket brand due to my setup). Could you put the car on a lift and show me why I need new control arms, 2 ball joints, tie rods, etc. (did my new bushings go bad or did I get in an accident on the way here and destroy my LCAs? You can't show me even though it just came off the lift?). Or you order a part and fail to get a call within 2 days after arrival.

Once I was quoted $1000 for a full turbo exhaust. I decided to buy all the exhaust components (muffler, resonator, high flow cat, header, O2 bung) myself and drop them off at the shop since I was unsure of what I was getting if I let them buy all the parts. Shop needed to provide the main piping and welding. What should've taken a few days ended up taking a month, final price....still at $1000.

Had an engine swap done to another car. I had a low mileage replacement shipped to a shop. Swap complete, they called me when it was ready, said everything was good and said they took it to redline with no issues. Besides them questioning my ability to change the oil since they assumed I neglected it (I had recently bought the car online from a single owner) I also found out when I got on the highway that any high revs in vtec triggered a CEL (limp mode) and would keep my rpms limited until I cleared it. Come to find out there was a crank sensor wheel that needed to be swapped from my old motor to the new motor. I understand the swap wasn't a 100% direct replacement as there were some things that needed to be carried over from the old motor, but don't lie to me saying there were no issues when you tested it. I ended up fixing the issue myself since I wasn't going back. This is also when I learned how to polish cars with a dual action polisher since the shop thinks throwing those abrasive paper fender covers on a glossy glass black finish is ok. They scuffed my fenders all up and it was apparent as I was driving up to the shop and saw the car sitting out front.

Never had A/C in another car since I bought it and was tired of dealing with 100% humidity, 110F heat index for all the years I've had it. Decided to take it to a shop several times to get the A/C fixed. I bit the bullet to pay for major a/c repairs/replacements and it didn't fix my issue. After a week warm air was all I had and no matter what the sounds/symptoms I said it had leading up to that I would get it topped off and be right back to where I started after a few days. Repeat the fill up about 3 more times before I gave up going back. At this point about 90% of the a/c components were "supposedly" replaced. I ended up buying a black light to find leaks since I knew there was UV dye in the system. There was one hose coming from the condenser and it is tucked away that makes it hard to see from the top of the car, but I found a major leak around rubber hose that was crimped into a metal pipe. Why the shop failed to see this who knows. Ended up buying from harbor freight a proper vacuum pump, a/c gauges/hoses, R134, and all new hoses that run from the condenser to the firewall. After doing research I dried and topped it off myself, A/C has been perfect for a year now.

Most work I do myself, but that saying is darn near true, "if you want something done right, do it yourself". There's only a few things I had no experience with, but thinking some shop could help in those instances just made it worse on my wallet.

There's some other shop experiences (company work vehicles taken to a shop for tune-ups, ended up discovering shady repair practices) but you get the point.

Dishonest people don't deserve to breathe.

It's unhealthy to eat that late anyway. :muttley:
I had worked a long day that is why late. This KFC is connected with a Long John Silver and they are so lazy and pathetic. Still have no indoor seating and even excuse is Covid but other franchises next door do. When the food isn't right thee fix it, they rather just give you a refund.

I hate getting door dings with a passion. I park in the remotest parts of parking lots. What really ticks me off is when I park far away from the nearest cars and I come out of the store and some idiot is parked right next to me.
I hear that! Of course they park close enough so you can't open your door all the way. I get tempted to accidentally walk into their side mirror.

People with closed minds. They're wrecking this country.

"Have you made your mind up"? the waitress asks. Ever find yourself ordering and you hadn't really made a final decision? Still weighing several offerings? We need to treat the real world the same way only we don't always have to have our minds made up and order, just because we are asked.

I am never so married to an idea or thought that can't be changed by something I didn't consider, like more facts. I am so tired of the large number of people in this country ignoring facts because they don't agree with their own self narrative.

I am right but I could be wrong. I think I am right; therefore, I might be wrong and need to leave myself open to that. I haven't made my mind up yet and when I do, I reserve the right to change it.

One of the good parts of aging is declining need to be right. I cannot know and freely admit that. One thing aging teaches us is that a made up mind is not necessarily a sound mind.
