LOL!! I must've missed you guys in the playoffs..You picked on Newman when he was hurt..
And I think anyone will agree the one plus you have at having a first year head coach is theres no scouting report or m.o. on his tendencies.. Maybe thats why after everyone got a good luck you went 2-6 the second half of the year?? Just a thought

You missed it? Their playoff came in Sept when they beat us. The rest of their postseason wasn't so enjoyable.

"Took our swagger and returned to the basement.

Our swagger is underground in DC someplace in a box from the 80's with a couple of superbowl trophies, some asterisks, and what's left of Joe Gibbs' reputation as a good head coach. "

He's actually referring to the last time the Deadskins were a dominant team. He's sarcastically juxtaposing "our swagger" with their strike seasons success of the 80s.

Ill give you 2, it was the 2 long touchdown runs that the ravens pulled on us. Like our season we caught a few very unlucky breaks and started slow and as soon as we started to get back on a roll and get our confidence, all hell breaks loose.

How do you lose the last game at Texas Stadium?

Really? What is going through your mind? That team was laughable.

Can't wait for the word swag to disappear.

Must be nice playing 2 Super Bowls every season. Your fan base lives vicariously through our team.

Best play: Barber's 4th Q TD at Arizona.

Word. That was a hell of an effort by the Barbarian.

Hey, thanks for the hand Boyzmamacita.
I was stunned by the question and not sure how to answer there for a bit.

Instead of trolling this board, why not do something more constructive with your time, like trying to get to first base with your sister.

He is a Commander fan. Chances are pretty strong he's already conquered that milestone and is working on crossing home plate.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. Wish the game had turned out better.

Coolest part of that play, the devastating block that Sam Hurd handed out.

It never got the pub or the excitment that the block on archuletta got but it was equally as good if not better.

Very Issac holt ala 1991 at the vet.

You want to throw out your 89 TD stats, thank God for the Hall of Fame receiver. Aikman will probably be surpassed by Romo in TD passes if he lasts that long, but I'm pretty sure he won't surpass him in clutchness, and Super Bowl victories.

Bottom line, Romo ruined our season, again.

You are right, we should've gone with Brad Johnson the whole year.

I would say the sack in the cards game that would cost us Romo for a few games

I think it cost more than just those games he was out.
That blocked punt or that pick 6 against Pittsburgh to DeShea Townsend.

Sorry Dooms, maybe my post was a bit misunderstood. I was not calling out any lack of heart on Romo's part, but the team's overall effort for the season. I was primarily calling out TO on his effort at getting the ball when it needed to be gotten. As far as Romo's 2 TDs in the last minutes yeah that's all fine and dandy and it helped to an extent. He still had a subpar game tho.

My mistake. As for Romo game you are right it was subpar but what impresses me is despite the sub par game Romo hung in there and made plays down the stretch to put us in a position to win the game. There are games QB's have that are not great but good QB's find a way or will to overcome the bad day and still put their teams in position to win.

For me, the it had to be two huge plays in the Cardinals game, the last play of the game, when Romo broke his finger, and of course the blocked punt.

Not only game changing, but season changing happenings for sure, then if you really want to go further, the Rams game, we were horrible, and the two very long runs that were run against us vs the Ravens, the Steelers game, god I can tell you every single play that turned our season into the biggest disappointment in a long while.
