What was the 1 play that symbolized our season?

Yes he did and Dallas had 8 total ints on the season what is your point? Romo has made mistakes and I have said so many times he has also taken crap by idiots like you who do not seem to get he can't control when a WR or TE have ran the wrong rout and Romo actually did the right thing but is charged the int because of the mistake of someone else. Romo clearly has things to improve on but to overlook much of the good is a joke
You want to throw out your 89 TD stats, thank God for the Hall of Fame receiver. Aikman will probably be surpassed by Romo in TD passes if he lasts that long, but I'm pretty sure he won't surpass him in clutchness, and Super Bowl victories.

Bottom line, Romo ruined our season, again.

Romo did not ruin our season the Dallas Cowboys as a team did not play good enough to advance and when Romo was out of the lineup we looked like complete crap. I don't know if you understand this but football consist of more than just a QB and no matter how good a QB is he is not going to win without others around him playing good football. This team has too many penalties we lead the league in them, we were not getting turnovers of our own and the blocking especially later in the season was horrendous 12 in Dec alone

Romo is a good QB but is he a Super Bowl clutch game, winner of important games? History says, NOT.

I think our defense played good enough to win this year, unfortunately, when the fans decide to single out 1 person and boo that person at home, then other players quit on you and that's what the defense did in Philly.

But at least Romo could've shown up himself. He could've done all he could do to help us that game but he didn't. Fans forgive him because he's just "so cute" and such a fun guy to listen to.

Plays like the one in Pittsburgh determine the season. I think it gets into other players heads when your QB does something stupid when we need him the most. The team loses confidence in him. He's paid the biggest bucks, he needs to take the team, put them on his back and will us to victories.

It's just not him, nothing wrong with that. Just time to start the search.

LMAO

This is the most negative thread ever. I didn't read some of it before when I responded.

Last year was the most negative season ever. We still have a pretty bitter taste in our mouths.

We have been a tad cynical, it would probably be represented by the fluke TD when Romo kinda threw the ball up in the end zone and it miraculously landed in Owens hands.

Did I say it was wrong? Did I call anyone out? Did I criticize anyone for their opinions?

No, I just made an observation. Pull in the paranoia. You aren't in the crosshairs for a rant.

If you say so....but the fact that they didn't even score on that drive suggests otherwise.

There were far more momentous plays last season than that one.

True, however, keep in mind if the Steelers don't complete that 3rd and 17 the Cowboys would have had great field position to score.
It was a turning point,no doubt.

Unfortunately , I just don't see it. I don't see it upstairs and in the heart category.

I'm sure thise was mentioned somewhere in this thread, probably more than once.

Mike Jenkins. The play where he decided he didn't need to try and make a tackle.

Was he lacking heart when he threw 2 TD passes in the last 6 min of the game vs the Ravens? Only to see the defense give up long runs. I don't excuse the bad judgment of Romo on throwing that pass it was a poor decision by him to make that throw but lack of heart? please

Sorry Dooms, maybe my post was a bit misunderstood. I was not calling out any lack of heart on Romo's part, but the team's overall effort for the season. I was primarily calling out TO on his effort at getting the ball when it needed to be gotten. As far as Romo's 2 TDs in the last minutes yeah that's all fine and dandy and it helped to an extent. He still had a subpar game tho.
