The first vehicle that was actually mine, bought by me and not a hand me down was a 1987 Buick Grand National. Still my favorite car to this day.
My neighbor across the street buddy when we were teenagers had one of those bad boys...loved that car

I was given my first car by my parents. It was the car my father had bought in 1968 to use as a work car to take him to the airport to take his flights with the airline.

I got the car in 1972, when I got my Driver's License.

It was a grey 2-door American Motors Rambler. It had an AM radio and an A/C added by the dealer. It had a bench seat in the front. It was a 3-Speed automatic. I added a Realistic underdash FM Stereo-Cassette auto-reverse player, and some speakers in the back.

With the bench seat, it was a good car to go on dates with and park by the duck pond after seeing a movie.

My buddies had the coolest cars in HS, one, a Boss 302 Mustang, and the other, a Roadrunner.

But, in college, I transferred into a 1972 Rally Sport Camero 350 V8.

1972 Chevy Nova but a powder blue unlike the one above. My father got it for me when I was 17, so it was already five-years old at the time.
