Here me out here, I know every scenario has been discussed in what is wrong with our boys over the last 20 plus years but at the end of the day more than anything doesn't it come down to having a head coach that is allowed to make decisions like cutting players and signing their own coaches?

Take Belichick for example: He traded Bennett away for a late pick even though he is a very solid player because of incompatibility and conformations. The players in Patriot land know they have to play at a very high level each and every game or they will be held accountable.

Forget scheme for a second and all the incessant clapping that goes on with Garrett, the bottom line is he has no real power and therein lies the issue right? The Country Club atmosphere that we all know exist is as real as death and taxes. So what can happen to fix it? Like we've all said in the past it's going to take the Jone's turning over the power to a coach whom is not only talented but also one who sets a high standard of accountability. Why do we think Zeke played so lackluster most of the season thus far? Why? Because of Garrett's authority level is zilch that is why...

These players have no real fear and they get sucked into the void of comfort. It's no wonder that coaches like Jimmy Johnson and Bill Belichick and even Parcells built winning programs! if you played or play for them you either give give it your all or you are no longer wanted. Garrett is too busy trying to be best friends with most of these players hoping that they're going to win it all for Gipper..

Bottom line is we've been caught up in scheme and game planning quite a bit lately! The sad truth of the matter is that we're nothing but a Circus with dysfunctional ring leaders! Our only chance of getting further in the playoffs is sheer luck and some help from the refs. This win against Philly was a band-aid, so how much longer can this front office keep putting lipstick on a pig?

I don't think the biggest issue with JG is his authority, it is ability.

This team doesn't do the little things it takes to win and the coaches don't give them a tactical advantage when it comes to Xs and Os.

We don't get the game day edges. Poor clock/game management. Poor adapting to the other team's strengths and weaknesses. "We do what we do" is anti-Belichickism.

Belichick squeezes out every last advantage he can. Sometimes it's the air out of the football.

We do what we do. Garrett has turned lazy coaching into a doctrine.

Bingo! And who is the common denominator in all of this?

Ball busting coaches don't last long in today's NFL. Winning extends their time but only so long. Part of the problem is coaches work for the GM/owner so there are always "strings". As successful as Bill is it's not something you can simply duplicate easily. The synergistic way all the coaches work with the personnel Dept and how they aquire talent is just amazing. For how things run here we finally have a good group but the coordinators need help. Stephen does a good job getting talent for cheap trades but I'd like to see him a bit more aggressive to grab 1 or 2 defensive pieces this year to make a run.

Public Enemy # 1 was and alway's be the sole reason our team hasn't been to a championship game since 1995.
He lasted a couple of years with Parcells probably drinking heavily for 2 years.
No coach with any self-pride or even close to Belichick abilities would ever consider working for Egomaniac Jerry Jones.
It's his child and no one tells Daddy what to do!!!
