Yes we know Garrett is the problem ...... 90% of the forum agrees ........ Why do people start threads acting like this is a new idea or that they suddenly discovered the problem.

Here me out here, I know every scenario has been discussed in what is wrong with our boys over the last 20 plus years but at the end of the day more than anything doesn't it come down to having a head coach that is allowed to make decisions like cutting players and signing their own coaches?

Take Belichick for example: He traded Bennett away for a late pick even though he is a very solid player because of incompatibility and conformations. The players in Patriot land know they have to play at a very high level each and every game or they will be held accountable.

Forget scheme for a second and all the incessant clapping that goes on with Garrett, the bottom line is he has no real power and therein lies the issue right? The Country Club atmosphere that we all know exist is as real as death and taxes. So what can happen to fix it? Like we've all said in the past it's going to take the Jone's turning over the power to a coach whom is not only talented but also one who sets a high standard of accountability. Why do we think Zeke played so lackluster most of the season thus far? Why? Because of Garrett's authority level is zilch that is why...

These players have no real fear and they get sucked into the void of comfort. It's no wonder that coaches like Jimmy Johnson and Bill Belichick and even Parcells built winning programs! if you played or play for them you either give give it your all or you are no longer wanted. Garrett is too busy trying to be best friends with most of these players hoping that they're going to win it all for Gipper..

Bottom line is we've been caught up in scheme and game planning quite a bit lately! The sad truth of the matter is that we're nothing but a Circus with dysfunctional ring leaders! Our only chance of getting further in the playoffs is sheer luck and some help from the refs. This win against Philly was a band-aid, so how much longer can this front office keep putting lipstick on a pig?

We are "caught up in scheme" b/c that is the only thing that can be realistically fixed. Jerry cannot co-exist with a Jimmy Johnson or a Belechek type coach. He tried and its just not in him. So, as long as we are stuck with GM jerry , you can forget about hiring anyone good. Nobody worth their salt would come to Dallas and have a staff selected for them while having only input on personnel. You'll just have to settle for something less.

so he should have thrown a flag at the referee to get additional penalty yards, so you feel good about what he did as a fan...that's the dumbest thing I have yet heard for reasons not to like garrett
Yes I love that he did that. It was worth 30 yards to show we had the moxie that's cuz you used to dealing with dumb people. He demands no respect on the sidelines he doesn't get the benefits Collins now online the doubt. If only more fans had a clue. Obviously you don't get it LMAO

one of the dumbest responses I've ever received. LMAO do you think he demands respect on the sidelines. Seriously other than being a troll if you're really paid attention you wouldn't be arguing with so many people. But I forgot you enjoy it

Keep in mind that Sanjay said that Cooper wasn’t an elite WR yet and most of the board went ballistic and said it was evidence that all the coaches should be fired.

You say that JG has no authority then stammer on about how some ballbuster coach is gonna fix this mess. JG has no authority because Coach Jones runs the team. There's your problem. The only reason we say Parcells was so Jerry could get his new stadium. Now that he has it, he'll remain GM and HC.

Bro, you missed my point, and I didn't stammer about anything. What I said was we need a coach who is free to make decisions! That would logically mean that Jones would have to change! Also, besides a coach whom is able to make good decisions we also need one who doesn't tollerate half arsed efforsts. You feel what I'm getting at here? Yes, we all know Jerry is the first problem, but garrett isn't bringing anything to table in terms of gameplanning which makes him irrelevant. Jerry probably will never change, but without a coach with authority and great skills we're obviously one in done in playoffs as usual, or if we're lucky we can win one game.

that's childish and undisciplined......and the players pick up on that and they become undisciplined and then we complain why he can't control the team...if you do that, you have lost your kool ad any leverage you have...that;s DRAMA, which is what you seem to like

You pretty much summed up what a lot of people have been saying for years on here, with that being said I can't disagree with you comes down to what I've said for years culture and what I mean by that it's all of what you said above , not just ownership bought that ownership is the Puppet Master until that changes I can't see anything else changing. They gave that a try once by giving the Reigns over to Parcells and then Jerry had to stick his nose in and bring in the freak Show Terrell Owens I think that's why Parcells left to be honest with you

Really guys like TO and Dez are gone as was Hardy. Dallas has held players accountable and have basically fired them while still under contract. It is funny because guys like TO and Dez blamed Garrett for being let go, not Jerry Jones

The bottom line is. I have no problem you're not agreeing with my opinion. What did throw insults like the dumbest thing. I won't be disrespected if you want to discuss it like an intelligent person rather than a troll. I'd be glad to. I mean who do you think you are that you are so smart and your opinion that you put on the board is great. A read.many stupid things that you posted . do I say it.

Good points but holding players accountable is not just about letting them go, but also making them sit on the bench and showing them that as a coach you wear the pants and you demand maximum effort.. I just don't think it's in Garrett to be an arse most of the time and the players need someone they have to really be accountable toward in my opinion... Our team always believes their press clippings and this is a coaching issue.
