What were your impressions of Prescott

Played pretty well. Not great, but well.

The playcalling instantly became moronic as usual once we had a chance to take control of the game.

The receivers dropped quite a few and couldn't cope with the sun glare.

Kinda strange the NFL doesn't allow players to have the shaded lens across the face mask.

Prescott had a great day for his first start. His only real weakness was punching it into the end zone. I thought they should have played Morris inside the 20. He's more experienced and just is better reading blocks right now.

Zeke lacks patience.

He's not going to make up for a really bad defense but he protected the ball very well. Wish he used his legs more.

Solid, his throw to 11 should've been caught. Dez had another. Have to make those plays regardless of who is throwing the ball!

How do you think he faired his first start?

I thought he started out well and then seemed to struggle but with no consistent running game and questionable play calling, the offense became the dink and dunk offense and very predictable for the Giants defense

Played solid. Didn't get help from his wide receivers and was limited by horrid play selection. Witten is great but he is old and slow and should never run screens to him
Best post yet!

Bad WR play, horrible defense, coaches force feeding Elliott down our throats when Morris played better, oh...and horrid play selection.

Played like a young backup QB. Some good, some bad. Didn't target Dez enough. Didn't run when he had the opportunity. Need Dez and Beas to make those two touchdown throws.
Yep, he may become a decent backup some day. He overthrew wide open receivers all day. You should have known his hype was too good to be true when Jerruh endorsed him.

Solid player with potential to develop. Once he can play from under center without having to run designed rollouts and waggles and feels comfortable turning his back to the defense on play fakes...the offense will open up more under him. He's young but has poise and looks to only get better.

Agree we are leading and have the ball then they resort to running on first and throwing screens and flat passes to Witten of all people. We had them you have to stick a dagger into them. This coaching staff scares me it's mostly on them today.

he didn't get rattled, which says a lot. really didn't make any "what were you thinking?!" throws. at the same time, he didn't take unnecessary sacks.

he's not the reason we lost and he contributed to giving the team a chance to win. since i figured he was a year or two away from taking over the reins, i'll take that for now.

there are many other positions and issues that need to be improved before you get to dak.

There was a notable difference in what we saw in Philly and what we saw in Dallas today.

And that was a division 2 guy with barely a preseason.

The positives is that if you would have told me that Prescott would have been the starter on week 1 either before or after we drafted him...he looked far better than I would have imagined.

He also made a lot of good throws, especially on the run and hung in the pocket pretty well.

The bad news is that his throwing mechanics fizzled as the game went along.

He wasn't the reason for the loss. The run game didn't help him out. Free couldn't block an 8.5 fingered man and the defense couldn't stop inside zone run plays.

Actually I do think he's the reason they lost but that's okay. He's supposed to lose now. He's a rookie.
