What were your impressions of Prescott

Are people actually disappointed in his play? You guys watch the same game? He did more than enough to win. Zeke couldn't get going, Witten had a poor game and Dez couldn't hold onto the ball. His pocket presence was fantastic for a rookie (not a single sack despite lots of pressure from right), and when his arm got hit from behind he had the strength to hold on, get away and throw, unfortunately dropped by Bease.

In the second half non stop holding calls on the line put them in poor down and distances, but he still didn't force things so much that he didn't get a pick.

Very happy with his play. Poised and in command. The pass accuracy will improve, romo was a bit wild in his rookie season too, and that's after four years of backup experience

I agree with this. 5 yards per attempt with 0 TD passes isn't going to win games in this league.

Still, it's to be expected. He's playing way earlier in his career then he should be.

And that inability to stretch the field allowed the Giants to sell out on the run the entire game. They never had to adjust because the QB never made them. It won them the game.

All of this is okay now being his first year but I don't think he'll ever be the QB I'd want for this team. I want top tier elite. I have a hard time believing that's Prescott.

Garrett is a mediocre head coach and game planner.

I am not sure why anyone is surprised that we get some cruddy game plans more often than not.

Jones is completely oblivious to the fact he's got a mediocre head coach.

Needs to be more of a playmaker. The kid has wheels but looks hesitant to use them at times.

Study Russell Wilson's game and emulate him. That's how good I'm hoping Dak can be, and he has the tools to do it.

Solid debut overall. His numbers (and the final score) look a lot better if Beasley and Dez don't drop those TDs.

He handled the game and will our future QB. Perhaps if the leave Morris in the game, we actually move the ball. Zeke was totally ineffective and the coaching staff should have made that change earlier, and left him in...or at least platoon those two. Terrible adjustments, well actually none, to Giant's defensive adjustments.

I love Dak just think how much better he could be with better coaching.

The play calling was predictable as usual as was the route trees. My dumb blonde dates typically can guess the next play.

The defense is in worse shape, it's a scheme which relies on talent on the DL but has none.

This is the equivalent of a fan burp. Let it out. You'll feel better.

He seemed to be able to handle the spot light. He didn't take a ton of shots down field or fit any balls into tight windows but overall I'd say a grade of: Beach. The rest of the team except Bailey: D.

It really socks though, Beasley catches his TD opportunity and Dez catches his and we'd all be drinking the dak kool-aid.

Dak took what was given. Only made a couple impressive throws really but other than that was just solid.

Our brilliant offensive genius head coach designed a game plan to feature Cole Beasley underneath by using Dez as a decoy on deep routes.

Imagine that. And this guy gets paid millions to do this for a living.
Jerry is comfortable. All is good.

This was a harsh slap back to reality for the homers here. Prescott looked as I expected him to. A lot of short stuff, no real stretching of the field, conservative-ish game plan from the coaches, Giants crowding the line.

LOL at the talk that Elliott and Prescott were going to open a can of butt whoopings on the Giants.

For a 4th round comp pick who was signed to develop as a backup for Tony, I thought he did really well. Give him a running game, eliminate the drops, and I think he'll do a good job for us. The receivers were having trouble seeing the ball because of the sun, which is true for every team that plays at AT&T, but it is kind of sad that we had this home field disadvantage today.

Dak wasn't the problem.

Receivers that constantly give up ground after making catches are the problem. Receivers that mentally check out are the problem. Receivers that can't catch the ball unless it's perfectly thrown are the problem. OL that barely even touch their blocking assignment are the problem. Repeated mental lapses are the problem.

If everyone did their job as well as Dak did his, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
