The best owner in football is back in charge of hiring a coach and conducting the draft. Be grateful, very grateful.parcells316;1333166 said:The worst GM in football is back in charge of hiring a coach and conducting the draft. Be afraid, very afraid.

I'm a little disappointed that so many fans are thrilled about his departure and gloating over it so eagerly on cyberspace. So here's a little something to bring out the positives with ol' Bill.
What will you miss most about Bill Parcells?
For me, the press conferences. I freaking loved Bill Parcells press conferences. No one could make reporters his female dog as skillfully as Bill. Jimmy could do some things with the media, but I've never seen a coach until Bill who could handle the dumb questions so well. But it wasn't just that, it was also Bill's natural born teacher side. If you wanted to be a football coach, you listen to enough Bill Parcells press conferences and he'll teach you how to be one. He was always open to sharing his perspectives on coaching, how he motivated players, strategies he thought were successful or unsuccessful. You could tell he really had a passion for coaching and liked to pass his experience on to any reporter who really wanted to pick his mind. Streaming the daily press conference from the Cowboys website was always something I looked forward to, no matter what the record. I'll really miss them and don't think I'll listen to them as much with whomever replaces Bill.

Thanks for the compliment. You don't think JJ is the best owner in the NFL? Most in here do.Dave_in-NC;1333649 said:Uhyea. Jones has done a bang up job. Multiple losing seasons between Jimmy and Bill. Your statement could very well be the dumbest I have seen here in months.
