Amen to that. I saw Larry Lacewell at Jerry's Unveiling Party. Those 2 were talking at length. Not a good thing if Larry comes back as a "consultant."

His pressers were stupid. Who cares about his personal life. I dont see what was so humerous about his pressers, hes talking down to reporters, he never tells them amything they can use, he put the team down as often as he could in an attempt to ground them, he shot the wings off the team.

I wont miss anything about the fat ***. I am glad hes gone and wish he were out of Dallas Yesterday. 2 weeks of him hanging roundd bothers me. Just cut ties with the loser and move on.

Did Bill kill your family in a past life?

1) Player aquisition & management. Not only is our talent pool appropriate, Parcells will not hesitate to cut you if you suck.

2) Demeanor - Parcells is one of the more intelligent men to ever coach. He tries hard to act like the simple, hard working tough guy from Jersey, but you can see in his eyes that he is an incredibly shrewd person. The guy thinks.

3) A win under Parcells was always an excellent experience. Wins like that Carolina game this year were something great to experience. When his coaching would pull us through in some games (my how easily we forget those times) it was always a great thing to see.

quite simple....

1) quality talent evaluator - would have no qualms 'bout placing him in the gm spot - if we had a gm spot

2) just doesn't have "it" anymore to coach

3) complete tool of a human being - not askin' for mr. sunshine - Coach Landry was task master/disciplinarian - but NEVER a tool

I won't miss anything. I was ecstatic when we hired him. I'm relieved he is gone. Nowhere near my expectations.

There were things I liked. In particular the team he is leaving behind.

There is just as much that I dislike. In particular the yearly December fades.

I don't for one minute believe no other Head Coach can do what he did. I have to believe we will go forward regardless of his abilities.

Jerry is a great owner. He will spend his money on what HE thinks is talent.
Thats where the problem comes in. JJ sucks as a GM. Aikman said that Johnson ran this team when he was here. I would guess Aikman would know.
Parcells ran this team when he was here, we are way,way better for it.
There are many lean years in between not only in wins but also in gathering talented players.

So to say JJ is the best owner/gm is ...... well dumb.

What did giving the majority of control on coaching and player personnel really net you over the last 4 years. Mediocre season after season highlighted by consistent December swoons.

I would state that Parcells has elevated the talent on this team to a good degree. With the purported improved scouting department and the new head coach at the helm I don't see Jones going back to the Campo years.

I don't think Jones is interested in cultivating the controlling owner image and he has major distractions looming such as successfully completing a billion dollar stadium.

I would have to agree that in the aggregate Jones is one of the best owners in the NFL. Add in his accessibility with the fans and players and his overall enthusiasm for the job I believe Jones is pretty much the best owner in football. Kraft is maybe savvier, but Jones has panache. It is not boring being a fan of the Cowboys except when you have to endure a predictable conservative and uninspiring coach at the helm.
