not a must win for playoffs - but might be a must win if they are going to win the division. If they win, they are division leaders at mid season, if they lose they are going to be 2 games back against the best team in the NFL. I don't know that they are going to catch them with our schedule down the strech should they loseOne thing for sure is it is NOT a must win game. Although a win would be huge to build confidence. But it is a game that IF the Cowboys show up and bro g their “A” game they can and should win. I no longer worry about the opponent, I worry about the Cowboys and which team will show up. Consistency is what I’m looking for.
Yes, we have control of how successful we will be this season.... or not. Some one made a thread saying next weeks game is not a must win. However, here is what a win or a loss means as to % of winning the division.
yes, many more games to go.
No playoffs is currently at 23% and a win moves us to 13%. A loss drops us to 25%. A win increases our HFA from 11% to 18%

An Eagles win or loss does not change much of anything for them. It just increases their HFA to 65% from 55%. A loss also decreases their chance for the division from 55% to minus 37%. If I looked at that correctly.

So this game means more to Dallas than it does the Eagles as far as that goes. Therefore to me it is a must win to put ourselves in control of the NFCE. Also on the path to HFA. As we are tied with Seattle at 11% for that behind Philly

Beat Philly, then they have a bye week, we play the Panthers. We can get even with the Eagles at 7-2, but technically be in first with the 1 game head to head.
So Dallas can control it's own destiny with a win.
Told yaKeep poking the bear.... the Rams are 3-5, so guess what? The Rams aren't very good.
Giants - 2-6
Jets - 4-3
Patriots - 2-6
Chargers - 3-4
Are you seeing a trend here?
Given the post-Dallas collapse of the 49ers, and Philly's exposure of the Fins, it might mean Dallas is again in the same conversation as best in the league. It would mean that we continue to fare very well against them, a trend some just won't acknowledge. A win next week would be ecstatic and put fear and doubt in their hearts.
Assuming they didn’t write up their own schedule, what would? Be careful about answering “win playoff games”.They may have the best record as of now, but that does not make them the best team.
It would mean. 6-2 and move on to the next game. Some one made a thread saying next weeks game is not a must win. However, here is what a win or a loss means as to % of winning the division.

I don’t concern myself with playoff games until they are actually here. I don’t get into the past teams we played either. Every year is different. I don’t constantly whine that nothing matters because we get bounced again….as I said every year is different, I do not dwell on the past.Assuming they didn’t write up their own schedule, what would? Be careful about answering “win playoff games”.
Maybe make it past the divisional round lol…It means almost nothing after seeing the collapse of the 49ers. The goal posts will continue to change. The Cowboys have to win a Super Bowl. That is all that matters. If we lose we are still in great position to make the playoffs. If we win we have a chance to get to 9-2 because it appears the Giants, Carolina, and Washington are done.
..throw in the fact. Eagles still in middle of tough schedule, after bye. Ending with us at home. Some one made a thread saying next weeks game is not a must win. However, here is what a win or a loss means as to % of winning the division.
