What would be the worst thing that could happen to our current season?

As the result of an inept running game in addition to inexperienced starting O-linemen and constantly playing from behind, opponent defenses are able to pin their ears back and disregard anything else but Dak's physical location.

Inevitably, our 240-million-dollar-231-of-it-guaranteed quarterback goes down....hard. It is a career ending injury.

Despite Dak's absence from the game, the dead cap money deprives the team of rebuilding adequately for half a decade.

I think that is the worst that could happen and every bit as realistic as the pre-mentioned scenarios.

1. Keep winning games
2. We continue to lose games
3. Season ending injury to a top player on this team
4. It can't get any worse?????
5. We make a trade giving up draft capital for next season

Please give your thoughts
The plane would crash and kill the whole team? Damn Cowboys.

I always found the concept of people saying they're tanking to be quiet odd. So what happens exactly, you have a team meeting and say hey guys, all the hard work you did all summer and what you put your body through, we're just going to lose games on purpose so we can TRY and be better next year
Players don't tank. Owners/GMs/coaches are the ones who might.

Another enlightening post by the fan who thinks the NFL is fixed and that the league arranged for KC to win the Super Bowl because of Taylor Swift.
Why is Taylor dating Kelce?

Easy: It means more people paying attention to football. So, more people playing. Which leads to more head injuries. Which leads to more Taylor Swift fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe the worst thing that can happen we get 27,000 new threads a day instead of 17,000.

Our thoughts will be all over the place, and brain cells all over as well leaving fans scattered brained.

The best thing that can happen is that our young guys stay healthy, develop and be part of a losing season. Our only hope is to draft well and build from within because we have no money, and Jerry is poor.

An 8-9 to 9-8 record.
Keeps us just relevant enough and possibly even a division winner in a down year for the division provided Washington cools off.
Add in the lower draft draft slot we'd inherit by being a division winner and its a recipe for the same mediocre BS as has been the norm.

Oh yeah, but at least we got Dak for another 4 years.
So there's that. Sarcasm extreme smdh.

Some seriously sad times.

If the NFL sees that their most popular franchise is in trouble and they arrange a Super Bowl appearance for them.
The Cowboys vs Taylor Swift and the Chiefs would really capitalize on the NFL's popularity. Taylor and Travis could get married before the game or at halftime.
But who would they choose to win?
Drama, drama, drama.
I don't feel at home in this world anymore.

Sneak into the playoffs and get obliterated in the Wildcard game. Or maybe that would be a good thing?

Say we lose a lot more and get a great draft spot. With the culture as it is, that early drafted round 1 "stud" will be ruined by Jerry culture by the time it's time for a new contract.

So by not being active in acquiring talent? You can't tell me they go to their guys and say hey hey hey don't give it all you got
