6-2 at the bye. 5 of those games with a backup quarterback. 9 games left in the season. 26 years of frustration playing into your beliefs.

What would it take for you to drop the caution flag and allow yourself to hope that this is the year? Beating Green Bay at Lambeau? Following that up with a win in Minnesota? Making that 5 wins in a row by beating the G-Men on Thanksgiving? Or maybe you are hardcore and need to see a victory in the playoffs or maybe 2?

I, myself, need them to beat GB and Minnesota on the road with the offense throwing up 30+ points in those wins. I believe if the offense can score 30 points against those teams in their stadiums then we have the complete team it would require to go to the promised land. Another win on Thanksgiving with the ensuing 10 days off to get healthy would be the final nail. Good offense, great defense and good special teams is a recipe for a championship.

What do you need to see to drop the yellow flag?

We win those two road games and everyone starts paying attention, that is when a good team becomes a contender.

We are full speed ahead now. If Dak played vs. the Eagles, good chance this team would be 7-1.

It’s all about the playoffs. The Cowboys have to win. We have Super Bowl talent. The reality is the Cowboys will at least win 10 games with the AFC South on the schedule and get the wildcard. I actually think we would be better off on the playing on the road with our defense and running game.

Short of an NFCCG, nothing because we've been down this road before. There were other Cowboy teams that we thought were different but in the end they weren't. Show me in the playoffs. If they actually show up and play a good game then I'll give the FO credit.

Solid beatdown of the Packers and Vikings on the road would go a long way. In the post season advancing past the divisional round. But more importantly in the post season we play well. We play like we're ready for the moment.

One thing that has helped me start to believe is Micah's play and emotional impact on the team. One of the sequences that defines this season is playing Detroit and Micah hustling and stopping the TE at the one. Then the next play happens and DLaw forces the fumble. Parsons alpha dawg mentality has rubbed off on the whole defense and team. These are not the Hot Boyz defense of flying around and doing nothing. Micah has implanted his personality and mentality on the whole team ala Aikman and Irvin from the glory days. Micah's energy is contagious and everyone is catching it. That makes me believe.

Perfect time to come off a bye week, when you got back-to-back tough road games.
We get past the packers and vikings, we get 3 home games in a row.
Next 2 games really defines where this team is going.

5 to 7 years of consistent playoff caliber ball in which they are competitive regardless of circumstance and show that they stand for something.
1 trophy and 2 SB appearances all the while replacing core starters through the draft AND free agency.

If we start playing our best football come December and beat Philly in the rematch, along with knocking off the stupid penalties and improving our run defense then I might start believing. However, it still may take a divisional round playoff win to convince me this team is for real.

The Cowboys need to win out.
Detroit and Chicago were always supposed to be wins; we knew that.
But the Cowboys have an easy schedule, and if they are going to show that they are different than previous years, Dak has to produce and beat the tough teams on the schedule.
If the Cowboys can't beat the Vikings, Titans, and the Eagles- as well as the teams they are supposed to beat- they aren't any different than before.
Dak's made a career off of the weak NFC East; now he needs to show he can "rule the East"-as his fans claim- when they are better.
After all, Cooper Rush beat the Giants and the Commanders and nearly beat the Eagles-at Philadelphia, with bad calls and penalties galore- and his fans proclaimed how Dak would've won.
It's time for Dak to put up or shut up- and his fans, too.
