Short of an NFCCG, nothing because we've been down this road before. There were other Cowboy teams that we thought were different but in the end they weren't. Show me in the playoffs. If they actually show up and play a good game then I'll give the FO credit.
We've had good offenses, but weak defenses for the most part. Also we had Garrett & Marinelli making the decisions.

6-2 at the bye. 5 of those games with a backup quarterback. 9 games left in the season. 26 years of frustration playing into your beliefs.

What would it take for you to drop the caution flag and allow yourself to hope that this is the year? Beating Green Bay at Lambeau? Following that up with a win in Minnesota? Making that 5 wins in a row by beating the G-Men on Thanksgiving? Or maybe you are hardcore and need to see a victory in the playoffs or maybe 2?

I, myself, need them to beat GB and Minnesota on the road with the offense throwing up 30+ points in those wins. I believe if the offense can score 30 points against those teams in their stadiums then we have the complete team it would require to go to the promised land. Another win on Thanksgiving with the ensuing 10 days off to get healthy would be the final nail. Good offense, great defense and good special teams is a recipe for a championship.

What do you need to see to drop the yellow flag?
They have beaten one team with a winning record so far. I have seen this show before. Lets see what they can do in the playoffs.

What would it take for me to believe? Nothing I already believe.

Belief is a combination of hope and desire, to me. Some find it harder to believe, because their belief comes from proof and evidence. I watch the games out of pure love. Others watch the games looking for evidence. That's the difference between an optimistic fan and a pessimistic fan. It doesn't matter which side of the coin you're on, because no fan is better than the other. We all love our Cowboys. So to those that need proof before they can believe...I hope this team provides you with everything you need to join me in my belief.

Damn, I almost wanted to say Amen after that. lol

This is the game of football. If I'm ever going all-in as a fan, there's not many times better than now.

I don't consider the past losses or wins. I only consider what's relevant, and that is what is happening right now.

What's happened in the past is not relevant, whether they won or lost, whenever, because we're in this season right now, and those things have no bearing moving forward: the only thing that matters is right now.

The 13 being the start of the return of a Dallas/Green Bay rivalry and the Cowboys owning it again....then to beat Philadelphia on into December.

Sign Suh and OBJ.

Already a believer but this would make me happier.

Eliminating the stupid penalties

Eliminating the slow starts

Being provably good in areas we haven’t been good in since 95 (Safety, DT)

Get to the superbowl, otherwise no one is going to remember that we were 6-2 on November 2022.

I'll believe it when I see it. Nothing in the regular season is going to do it for me after almost three decades. Win when it really matters. It's that simple.

27 years of futility makes it hard to go all in. I get that. Maybe we just have to enjoy the ride and not worry about what happens at the end of the season

Every single game is going to be different. All I need is them to win. And I don’t care by how much. Deeper into the season it’ll be fourth quarter games the team with the ball last. I don’t expect any blowouts.

The Cowboys need to win out.
Detroit and Chicago were always supposed to be wins; we knew that.
But the Cowboys have an easy schedule, and if they are going to show that they are different than previous years, Dak has to produce and beat the tough teams on the schedule.
If the Cowboys can't beat the Vikings, Titans, and the Eagles- as well as the teams they are supposed to beat- they aren't any different than before.
Dak's made a career off of the weak NFC East; now he needs to show he can "rule the East"-as his fans claim- when they are better.
After all, Cooper Rush beat the Giants and the Commanders and nearly beat the Eagles-at Philadelphia, with bad calls and penalties galore- and his fans proclaimed how Dak would've won.
It's time for Dak to put up or shut up- and his fans, too.
Cooper Rush nearly beat the Eagles. No he gave the game away to the Eagles. When we needed him most he couldn’t come through. That’s the Cooper Rush story

I'll perk up after two straight playoff wins.

Until then, meh.

yup…..doesn’t have to Lombard for me. But there has to be progress as in at least make the championship game and the following year on to the SB…..this one playoff win in 7 years ain’t gettin it.

the Niners are on the cusp of that and unfortunately the Eagles may certainly be on the fast track behind them……I’m not positive where we come in

that’s not true. The Cooper Rush story is an UDFA that makes 970K a year with just one prior nfl start, went 4-1 against 2 SB teams, a 5-0 eagles team and. 4-1 giants team ( as well as the crappy skins)

that fact that is undeniably the Cooper Rush story……tell which part isn’t true?…….

It is true. He did everything he could not to lose games and the defense kept us there. When we put the game in his hand he lost. Simple

Five touchdowns, three interceptions. That’s not very good

I'm a sucker for defense. They reeled me in like a bottom feeding catfish. We will beat GB and Minnesota. The only teams I'm worried about are RPO teams with mobile QBs. The Titans may be on that list if they are using Willis.

If you fall for it anywhere before we’re in the Super Bowl then you’re foolish.

We could be 17-0 with every win by 3 TDs and I’d fully expect to get the breaks best off us in the first playoff game.
