Larry Johnson would fit in practically any team's offense, but the article's author was correct about the most likely suitors being the Eagles, Giants, Packers or Saints. For Philadelphia in particular, Reid would automatically upgrade his running game and lessen the rushing load (which isn't burdensome already) on Westbrook at the same time. A Westbrook/Johnson combo would make the Eagles one of the top potential suitors for Johnson's services, imo.

Didn't we have a chance at LJ when we dumped AB? I remember a rumor of trading Bryant to the Chiefs for LJ, of course that was before he became the workhorse he is now

The article does not mention Dallas in it. Yet, your thread suggests that is what is going to be discussed....as well as your part of your post.

Yet, the article says nothing about us.

Clearly, you wanted to talk about the Philly angle.

Dude...whether the article says dallas or not, it has been talked about yesterday in other blurbs with the Dallas connection.

I suggest if this guy bugs you so much PUT HIM ON IGNORE!

Why?

If he wants to talk about the Philly angle, I want to chime in.

It would be something different to talk about since I've already covered everything that I wanted to say about the Dallas/LJ angle....

Can't do that with him on ignore, can I?

Only Jerry and Carl Peterson know if that rumor is true and neither is talking.

Than talk about IT instead of him.

Pretty simple.

I would think the Chiefs would like Westbrook in a return package for Larry Johnson.

I could see that if Kansas City would want a back similar to Johnson in exchange. The Chiefs' offense demands a lot of carries out of its running back. Would they want a back who may not be able to take the same kind of pounding that Johnson has?

I think if Larry Johnson went to the Cowboys or Eagles, he'd look alot like he does in Kansas City. Different colors, of course - more blues and greens instead of red and yellow - but I imagine he'd still go with the close cut fade and the white-trash facial hair.

I like how guys like Johnson run. McFadden runs the same way, and so did Jackie Battle in those "highlight" videos someone posted. They're striding real long, so it doesn't look like they're moving that fast - but they're smokin ya.

I think he might get rid of that white trash facial hair..... as a symbolic "restart" to his career.

Much like PacMan getting rid of his dreads...

Maybe this is urban rumor, but didn't LJ say he did not like to play for "white coaches"?

Being at work, I can't get youtube. Did he say it?

"One thing we hate is to have somebody who is not African-American and come in and say you gotta do this cause then it looks no matter how you put it no matter how big of a friend he is - it it looks like you telling me what to do you dont know where I'm from, you don't what I've gotta live through. And I think having that kind of resentment...you've gotta have a buffer."

Who cares, McFadden will be in a Cowboys uniform next season unless Julius Jones goes out and has an All Pro year...(which isn't very likely to happen).
