A football equivalent of the designated hitter.... in other words, the AFC plays the game with a key rule difference from the NFC, and one that decidedly reduces the amount of strategy that is part of the game.

I can't imagine what that would be in football, but I can authentically say that's not just in-theory... I did just that when it came to the new Astros' owner, Slim-y Jim Crane's, collusion with Devil Bud Selig to move the team to the league where strategy is decidedly reduced.

Sports, after all, is an entertainment choice I make as a consumer, and I chose the traditional form of play that I love over the team I spent 40+ years invested in (since 2nd grade).

You make me feel like a Spurs fan, after they got David Robinson and Willie Anderson had a ROY year... they got old boy who had that melanin... Terry Cummings - and he was good!
And they drafted Sean Elliott, to join The Admiral. At the time, the greatest turnaround in NBA History: 32 games.
And then began nearly a decade worth of drudgery.
Better than these Cowboys, but think the current day Clippers.

And then Pop fired that putz of a coach...
And then Defense was instilled...

And, it so happens, a certain Timothy Duncan couldn't swim in his local pool one day, because of a hurricane, and then became a basketball player who, just so happened to become a San Antonio Spur and deserves entire buildings made in his likeness!

I still harbor hope that I can, with his permission, write a part for him into something cool.

it would have to be a relocation for me to consider not backing the boys. But even then I'd most likely still be a cowboy fan.

There's a much better chance of me giving up on the NFL as a league and stop watching football entirely then me not backing the Cowboys. Fixed games, Goodell being a tyrant, unfair calls going against us in playoffs are reasons why I could bail on the NFL.

I didn’t watch a lot last year after Zeke’s suspension honestly.

The owners have made another decision recently that infringes on the rights of players to do something I myself would never do.

The league has overwrought several rules to the point of absurdity.

The league is handling discipline is a very reactionary, inconsistent manner.

I don’t have confidence in the leadership of the NFL. It diminishes the sport.
